It should be fine for outdoor cushions, in my opinion. It's cotton, and I'm very pleased with it. I used it on slipcovers.
Although it has been used for that purpose, its primary function is to fill welts. It's not a rope; it's made of cotton and has a poly overbraid.

I'm sick of running out of piping and having to buy the squishy stuff from the local hardware store. This is the firmness that I use in my pillows. It's also sturdy enough for reupholstery projects. The price was better than what I could get at Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby with the 40%% Put an end to the purchase debate and buy this so you'll always have what you need.
Excellent products
The quality of the card is excellent 100% made of cotton as described in the description in the description in the description in the description in the description It's soft but firm enough to give the chairs an elegant appearance. Three different types of chais were made with the card. I'm also happy with the delivery time. It is extremely quick.
I had to cut some of the tight threads a lot of the time to get the kinks out of the way and the cord to lay straight.
This cording arrived two days after I placed my order. This was purchased so that I could sew a slip cover for my oversized armchair. The upholstery cording appeared to be the right size. I'm happy with this product overall, but I gave it four stars because there are kinks in the cording every couple of yards or so that won't lay flat and are a little difficult to work with, but they aren't visible in the finished product, and the bobbin it comes on is cardboard.
Yes, it's piping that's supposed to be hidden behind fabric. It meets the need for which it was designed and, as a result, is a good investment. I'm using it to make slipcovers for my dining room chairs, but it can be used for a variety of things. You can't go wrong with this piping if you need it for a project or several. The value for money is fantastic.
For wick watering, this is a good size cording. Before I repotted my young African Violets in self-watering containers, I use wick watering. pots to be watered Because the cording I previously used is no longer available, this is a good substitute.
It was a tad smaller than I had anticipated, but that was entirely my fault. At the end of the day, the size was beneficial. Nothing went to waste because I was able to pull the cord from the unused piping; definitely a good deal when compared to Joann Fabric's price.
I usually leave negative reviews to others, but this time I felt compelled to inform others that this product falls apart, the cotton cording inside pops out of the braid, and it does not retain its shape. Very let down.
