The pliers on this pearl setting tool don't seem to be the right size for some of the pearls, causing the plier to pop completely over the pearl, biting holes in my fabric. I spent longer sewing up holes than I did putting the pearls in! The smaller and larger sizes worked best; perhaps the various sized plier attachments should be color coded or labeled so that each size can be matched to the appropriate pearl size. If it's a case of user error due to a lack of size markings, it's a simple fix that could make this set a lot more user friendly. I won't use it on clothes again; instead, I'll use it on gift wrapping ribbons and other less valuable items.
