Worked around short lines by wasting a lot of line.
Despite my best efforts, it took about a year for it to fray and break. The thicker cord I ordered this time seems much more sturdy with opening and closing the drapes. I have only had it for a year, but it feels much more durable than the thin cord I had in the past. Compared to the previous model, it fits the pulleys nicely, preventing it from pinching or breaking.
I used it to re-charge my iPhone An old traverse rod 10 feet long is strung on it. This curtain rod is balanced by heavy lined curtains on a small cord that stretches only slightly as it moves. Just the right amount of cord thickness appears to be used. With the new cord, I use less force to open and close the curtains than I did with the old cord. I am very satisfied with this cord's.
The new bamboo binds I am constructing are going to be outdoors, so I was hoping to find something that will resist weather. Then this is a good solution. Because the cord is larger in diameter, it doesn't get caught in the pulleys on the blinds like the original cord did. It appears to run more smoothly than the original cord did. The spool only lasted for five blinds, and I believe I used less than a tenth of it.
Actually, the original pull cords for these curtains started to break a while ago. A new roll of cords was needed to replace the old ones. I tried it and It is easier than it has been for years to open and close the curtains!.
A cord of this size is typically found in older traverse rods. It is ideal for replacing brittle cords or restoring the rods to a continuous loop. The cords are slightly thicker than the original cords that went on modern traverse rods, but will still A yellow gear from the thin cable white motors of the Chinese Bluetooth blinds works very well with this cable.
I wasted my time with this cord. It's of really poor quality and was uncomfortable You only get a sense of quality for a short time after using it because it appeals to all of the wrong senses. What makes this reviewer give it 5 stars must be pretty unbelievable. . . I'm removing it, and I'm buying a better quality cord instead. Avoid it.
It fits perfectly with our 40-foot extension cord The year is A drapery rod from the olden days. Due to the slicker nature of the cord, it pulls much easier than old cord. It was great to discover it worked because I didn't want to take it down You need to reinstall a 13-inch A foot-long A drapery rod with a wide span!.
