Black was the one we received.
It's made of cotton reinforced with polyester.
There is no glaze to the tieline, so it can be used to hang banners, tether cables,
This all depends on how long you expect the chair to last. The color is imbedded into the fiber, and the fiber is wrapped in polyester, so it can hold up for a while, but it is still an organic fibre, so I doubt it will last A black polyester - that is, a dacron or a black nylon - would have a longer lifespan because they are not organic and synthetic, however they have a bit of a sheen that black cotton does not have. I would definitely recommend it. I love it. It's a great size, good quality and has a big Years will pass without me having to buy anything. There is no reason you cannot use this cord for many other things as well.
The industry of live event production is quite familiar with this since you probably worked for it before. Every time I need some line to set up something at home, I will get this spool. I like it it's similar to what you use in the theater. Almost like a cottony texture, it's unglazed which gives it a matte finish. The glazed lines would hold knots better but I prefer the hand feel of unglazed and just tying good knots.
A wonderful tie line. A black synthetic core is enhanced by the braided, plain cotton outside Wax and polish are not applied to cotton -- It is a dull black color. It's being used as a tie line for rolling up and storing cables, and as steering line for flown PA. The general public can use theaters. Since it has a synthetic core, the ends can be held to a flame so they don't fray As you can see, I was able to make a stable non-stick surface by rolling the heated end between my fingers with wet fingertips XLR cables are tied to the frayed ends of the cable.
I am the technical director for a theater, and I use this for tying down lightweight curtains and drops. It is flexible, does not tangle, and it is very affordable for such.
There is no stretch in this bow, yet it is easy to tie and holds a bow well. The laces are similar to shoelaces. Despite being colorfast, there is no bleeding when it is washed.
The impression I got was very good. The purchase seems to be a good one. In my experience, I have worked on many theater events and this one.
