Because it is spooled for serger machines, the spool will not fit on a standard sewing machine. I haven't tried threading it through a regular sewing machine, but if you do, make sure the bobbin is threaded with the same thread as the top.
Yes, I do use it in my serger, but only for the lower loopers.
If you're working with stretchy fabric, this would look great on a waistband. It moves with the fabric and stretches as well.

This is a fantastic discussion! This thread has performed admirably when sewing stretch fabrics with four directions of stretch. It works great in both my regular and cover lock machines, but you must know how to use it correctly. Making a loop with a regular piece of cotton tread and threading the two ends through your needle is what I recommend. Slide the stretch thread through the cotton thread loop before pulling the cotton thread all the way through the needle, dragging the stretch thread behind it. This thread has the potential to be incredible if done correctly! Anyone who wants to use this thread but is having trouble doing so should try this trick. When used correctly, it's incredible.
It's not possible to use this thread in any way. It's supposed to be a "stretchable" thread, but as soon as I threaded it onto my sewing machine needle, it began to separate, fray, and shred. I don't know how to describe how awful it is. I tried a variety of needles and techniques, but I couldn't seem to find anything that worked. br>I strongly advise against purchasing this item. The only thing it stretches is my eagerness to put it to the test.
My flatseamer only accepts this thread. It isn't as fuzzy as wooly nylon, but it is more durable than non-woven nylon. serger that stretches.
Stretch thread was something I hadn't done before. On knit fabric, however, it was recommended for double needle sewing. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Wooly nylon, on the other hand, is no match for this.
Make a financial saving. This looks like a noodle, and it's all sponged up like cotton before you put it through the needle. suck. This is not something that should be sold on Amazon. Very dissatisfied.
