When working with Metallic thread, you should change your needle size accordingly
5/5

You should use a Topstitch Needle with a larger eye to work with, such as SCHMETZ Topstitch 90/14 or 80/12.

I love the metallic thread, the shine and sparkle are incredible! In my experience, metallic threads may break a lot, so I never use them
5/5

I decided to give Simthread a shot because I was knowledgeable about how well it performed on my system. As far as thread stands go, I've got a double tier one that sits at the end of my desk, about 20 inches to the right of my machine. I also used a 90/14 needle, but it's pre-wound. Today, I wound bobbin thread, so I had to slow machine down about 600 percent. It will look very pretty when the lights shine on the tree when I make my Christmas gift tags with this thread.

The metallic stitch is easy! A great price for metallic thread that doesn't need to be strung all over your room before it gets to your thread guide! Took my time stitching it and used a top stitch needle as you No problems were encountered with Gold

I found the silver a little harder to use, but it was still all right. It is a sure thing that we will be buying again.

This is incredible! The metallic thread was my first experience making machine embroidery, so I was ecstatic and nervous at the same time

My Janome 9900 can be found in my home. The needle recommended for this machine was used and the speed was set to the slowest setting. Neither mine nor my design broke, threading was easy, and the finish turned out wonderfully. As for the Fleur De Lis, I used Smithread metallic gold for the flowers and Smithread S068 blue for the background.

This thread has a great metallic sheen
5/5

A gold & platinum coin was used There are over 6,000 stitches in all the designs on the mini ornaments that use silver metallic thread. The only issue I had was with a bobbin that hadn't been wound properly. Neither of my sheets broke, nor did I shred or have Count on Thread to do a great job & To top it all off, it really is a great deal! I don't think the thread has that scratchy feel as it spins in To sew these, I used the thread stand that came with my Babylock Solaris, metallic needles, and a metallic thread The speed has been slowed to 700 stitched.

I use this Simthread metallic thread in my Brother PE800 with excellent results! Here are some pictures I took Those two colors stitched up beautifully, and you can't believe how cute the box looks! Voici a tip The needles for metallic thread should be used with a slow setting and the machine should be used on the lowest setting

It was also possible to feed the thread.
