It is a wonderful product and the threads are stunning. deeply dissatisfied with the shipping method (flimsy "padded" envelope), as the beautiful collector's tin arrived very dented and not as beautiful as it once was. It took me a long time to purchase the DMC threads, but overall I was extremely disappointed with the gift I gave.

You get DMC floss to start with. You would expect this floss to be of the same quality as others from this brand. The fibres are very soft, it is easy to separate the individual strands, and the color is consistent across I bought a second set of this floss from Amazon but it's the first I've purchased from the company. There's no difference in colour between the sets. There is something that stands out most about this set - the choice of colors. You get a mix of yellows, greens, and reds, but the highlight of this set is the grey and purple colors. It has been a long time since we had a selection of purple in the standard six strand set, and this new set bridges the gap between a lot of the previously-available set There are a variety of purples to pick from, however it tends to prefer a more subtle shade. There is a good assortment of grey tones included in the pack, and most of the yellows and greens have nice, midtone looks. It leaves me with only two very minor complaints If the glue missed the label and the floss itself got glued down, then the glue missed the label. A little more than half of the 10 skeins in the box I bought were this way. The floss had to be carefully pulled off, since I didn't want it to tangle if I found part of the skein had been pulled off. It once caught on the end of the skein, pulling a few strands from the six, leaving me with a troublesome knot Fortunately, the floss was going straight onto the bobbins, but this was an unnecessary delay in what is already a lengthy Secondly, it bothers me that the numbers are so high. There was a bend in the metal. Buying this with the hope of having a nice tin would be the wrong decision. Despite its bent state, the lid could not stay on the whole way. On the other hand, the thread So, my purchase didn't disappoint me since I bought this to play with the thread, not the game itself.

The floss was given to me after I made a pillowcase featuring butterflies for a young girl who likes The butterflies that were redone in the second version were painted in better colors and included some of the new hues as well. It's so pretty when those two look at each other It would have been used to store a set of artist's pencils as well as related items if the tin had arrived intact.

Boxes arrived in a bent state, but the tin boxes they came in were intact. There is nothing better than floss. Shipped in tin box, but the lid was broken and could not be closed.

As I add to the missing numbers, I will let you know. There was a lot of appeal to the package. This is a really beautiful product. I was looking at it in awe because it had such good organization and placement of the floss on the double adhesive plastic sheet. The avid and novice users will find this score satisfying.
