It was a very disappointing experience. purchased it instead of dreadlocks because I wanted to wrap my hair with it instead. I use it for wrapping but it does not work for. A few darker colors would have been nice to provide contrast with all of those pastel colors. There are a lot of pastels in this collection. Those wraps are okay for what I need in terms of basic wrapping, but I need to shop elsewhere to get other colors (which is exactly what I wanted to avoid I do most of my shopping on line. I don't shop much in person). What do you think of these?
Should I recommend them? I would certainly do it. It would be great to use these for learning and things like flowers. *As I said. . . My only reason for disliking it is because I think it's boring. The lack of black and brown tones makes the earth appear drab. There are 100 skeins, so I'd expect a bit more. I DON'T SEE A SINGLE BLACK OR DARK BROWN SKEIN IN THIS PICTURE. There is a good quality thread on the sweater. Because I am a beginner, I am not sure if one thread is better than another, but I am satisfied with how so far my pieces have turned out. But I was extremely disappointed when I ran out of two colors mid-project, so I bought 3 new packages of the thread just 6 months later, and the colors were completely different. When considering if this is the thread you want to buy, keep this in mind. It is impossible for me to finish my project right now, and I am sure I will encounter this problem again in the future.

Although it has knots in the thread, there is no harm in wearing it. In fact, it is a combination of cut pieces. There were at least 6 that had been cut. My attention was drawn to them as I wound bobbins on plastic. The colors are ok if you are new to embroidery and want to add to your color collection. This would not be a good option for fine art A good practice tool or quick project for quick practice.

The color selection surprised me since I was afraid it would all be bright and clashing colors. However, there are plenty of pastel and muted colors, too. The skeins I received were 100. You get a lot for a small price. Looks like the floss from a craft store, but it's a fraction of the cost. Honestly, if I need any more thread, I'll be ordering again. In case you happen to be in quarantine and need something to make friendship bracelets, or you need a gift for a crafts-minded friend, this might be a good choice.

These does not have a color number, and that upsets me. As I am doing a cross-cultural project I am working on a stitching project and I have no idea how the color numbers are assigned. It has now become necessary for me to order a color guide in order to identify these numbers.
