These are not casting lines, but forging lines can be seen. Muller's master smiths hand forge all of their tools, as seen in videos on the internet.

Blade length is 9 1/2 inches, blade width is 1 inch, and overall length is 16 1/2 inches. Made from the highest quality Austrian steel, which holds an edge incredibly well.

The blade has a slight curve that allows for greater control and precision.

This is a fantastic deal on a true hand forged draw knife with an antique design and finish.

The one we got has wooden handles.

I'm not sure if they're all the same, but they're all within 3mm of each other. on mine.

What kind of steel is this? Is it a recent addition?

Its new. It's clear that this is a hand-forged piece. It's razor sharp when it arrives. With it, I believe I could shave. Sorry, I'm not sure what type of steel you're talking about.

What is the steel's hardness rating?

Although I do not have a hardness tester, this drawknife performs admirably.

It's a cast, not a forged item

Out of the box, it was razor sharp, but it quickly dulled. Steel is a soft metal that will lose its edge quickly. It's also made of cast steel rather than forged steel. There are no forging marks, but there are a lot of mold parting marks. Not impressed in the least.

Excellent attention to detail. Steel of exceptional quality. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Definitely made by hand! I use it to quickly carve staffs and paddles out of dimensional lumber, and it makes me feel like Michelangelo of wood carving. Every movement is smooth and natural. The angle of the handles and the bend in the blade are both perfect. They're perfectly positioned to provide you with the best pushes and pulls possible. Why would you settle for slightly less for a few dollars more than the phony competition?.

Steel of excellent quality

Steel quality comes first, followed by geometry, in any blade. This draw knife comes with both a nice grip and a nice handle. This thing has a SHARP edge to it.

For $119, this is a good deal

It's hard to believe it's only 99 dollars. This is a tank-like design with razor-sharp edges. It's obvious that it's hand forged and built to last a lifetime, and Wisemen Trading delivered my package faster than my shipping status indicated. 5 stars.

It gets the job done

I quickly debarked and treated a yellow poplar pole, which I then set up as a 30 ft. flagpole. After completing the task, I'm still sharp. It's a breeze to work with.
