In addition, I like this machine a lot. Control of the temperature is perfect, and the device is very easy to operate. Consistency and reliability are two things it excels at. It is my pleasure to recommend the products of this company. I have used them for two years and I am extremely satisfied with their products.
You can use this wood burner even if you're a beginner! Just to make sure it was all working correctly, I used it for a few projects before writing this review. Temperature can be seen on the control box, and I like that. Since I am a visual person, seeing a number and being able to feel the heat differences makes it easier to know how hot I am burning and what temperature I need in any given situation. Occasionally, it can be a little tricky to dial up a specific temperature if you're trying to get to a specific number. Though I don't really care about that because it's more important to me to adjust the dial to a general temperature range, not just a specific one. With the interchangeable nibs it is easy to change them, there is a selection of them also, there are multiples of the same ones, so you won't lose one in case you bend it. While writing, I've noticed I apply a lot of pressure, and I press hard into the wood. That's because I have a strong hand and apply a lot of pressure to the nib. The way I hold the burner is the way I've always done it (I know it's wrong, but it's the way I'm naturally wired). To my knowledge, the only issue I have with the burner is that the yellow handle gets a little too hot for my taste. My aesthetic is bold, dark, and deep, which means that I need a lot of heat to heat up the yellow plastic. There's nothing unbearable or scalding about it, but it does tend to make me uncomfortable. My only wish for the burner is for a little more insulation. In summary, a good starter burner if you are looking to get into wood burning!.
I found it to be a very useful tool for the two months Its temperature gauge does not provide an exact reading, but it is better than other temperature gauges of burners of other types. It has logged approximately 200 hours of use over the past 2ish months I have It stopped getting hot after we switched the toggle on the wand. While the gauge shows that the temperature is rising, neither of the wands are getting warm. Because there is no option to contact the seller, and WandArt does not exist anywhere else but Amazon, this is a problem that cannot be solved. There's a bit of a mess in the case after I opened it. A short is being caused by nutting together the wires. Consequently, I taped them, just in case I could diagnose them better. There seems to be a problem with my particular unit's 3 way switch. As a result, I'm ordering a replacement so I can confirm it's just a bad printer. When I find out more, I will update this post.
It has a very good temperature control and is easy to use. I like it because it comes with a variety of wire tips, and the handle does not seem to get hot when I use Handles on this burner are smaller than the handles on others, but they feel comfortable in the hand. As part of the kit, you will also find sandpaper and wood circles for getting I have used it for a few hours and found that it provides adequate heat retention. It has a tremendous price point, and it works equally well as other devices of higher price points.
Upon using it for a few hours, I realized that the cord was lighter than any other cord I had used. It makes the strokes feel a little more flexible for me, because the lighter weight feels lighter to me. I have been able to relax my approach because of it. Purchase made with confidence!.
It was a Christmas present in January and I have used it for a few different purposes. To date, I have been able to use it for any purpose and abuse that I have encountered. It's actually quite helpful for my 3d prints I've fused, as well as repairing a few prints quickly and In addition, I have also used it for its intended purpose and it is effective there as well. Secondly, with this burner, the only drawback I have found is that the pens do get rather hot in the hand. Wrapping it in cork or wrapping it in cloth fixes that, but it's not difficult to do. The temperature is hot and the tips are durable, so I would recommend them to beginners and intermediate crafters of all kinds.
Because of their lightweight, which allows for more flexible movement while burning, and the precision control of the temperature, I like them a lot. Even so, I'd prefer it if the nib screw/holder on the pen was more rigid, so the nib doesn't have so much room to move when it meets the I just feel that it is overly loose, and it might take some time to adjust Overall, it is one of the best purchases you can make!.
Being able to switch between the heated tips is so convenient, since you don't have to constantly screw and unscrew it. Despite the fact that you are burning the plastic pens don't get too hot to the touch, which initially concerned me. In fact, I use one of the highest settings, but it burns soft woods very well. There is only one negative I can think of, which is that there is a small buzzing noise when you're burning.
