I ordered this to burn my logo on custom As well as oak, cherry, ash, and locust, I also make furniture with various hardwoods. The parcel arrived sooner than stated, although it was not very fast due to its direct delivery The instructions for assembly and use were lacking as well, which is typical. Having said that, it went together easily. The challenge is heating the brass brand head to the desired temperature rapidly and crisply for a good result. The handle provided is about 10", so putting it in a campfire would not be an easy task. Candles can't get the wood hot enough for it to burn. In the end, I used a small propane welder's torch, but it still took 10 minutes to bring the brass head up to the required temperature. As soon as it's hot, the result looks okay, but you should re-heat the head every time you use it. The score is a solid 7 on a 10 scale, but I am still early in using it, since this is my first post. Be very careful when heating the head and handle, as they come loose when heated!.

Your brands are awesome. In my latest one, I received yesterday, it is not centered properly on the bolt. I use a drill press to drill into the wood so I can see the branding. So that the wood cannot move, I clamp it down. To ensure that wood is completely level, I make sure it is Before I affix the brand to the wood, I go through all of these steps. There is no even burning with this new brand. While the bottom of the burn is a perfect 1/32 of an inch bud, as it moves up to the top it barely leaves a mark. have been trying to contact you directly, but I can't figure out how to do it. We got the product and it was exactly as described and what we wanted. There was a problem with the shipping - The seller doesn't have anything to do with it. There was a problem on the trip when the item went missing. However, the seller was willing and able to assist even though the issue did not have anything to do with the seller. This board is a bit difficult to read because I use it for cutting boards. I suppose it is for the best. Unfortunately, I made a mistake. As far as I can tell, it works. Is of good quality overall, but there are a few issues. Make sure to test on a scrap piece of wood first. Hold under stove flame for about 20 seconds to ensure the product functions properly I was 3 minutes late. Get the burn just right by experimenting first.
