Having the drop spindle balance with the fibers gives a tactile experience that's second to none. A single dissatisfaction that I have is that the yarn you get when spinning and plying is gray.
Beginners who wish to learn to spin will also find this kit very helpful. Once I understood the concept, it took little time for me. To make it more even, I just have to make The only thing I need now is practice. This kit is also useful for watching YouTube videos with this in hand.
In fact, I also received the kit with bright rovings rather than the muted colors A beginner should not attempt to use this kit. Its spindle is heavy, there is no notch to guide the roving, and the roving is short and slick. Unfortunately, I was not able to get a good deal on it.
In order to learn how to spin, I purchased this kit. Creating the wool top included in the kit was enjoyable. Having a drop spindle of good quality is a plus. As for the included instruction sheet, it was helpful. I've got no complaints about this product.
Despite our best efforts, the box arrived crushed, and the contents didn't look anything like As a gift, I was expecting this, but I was very disappointed in it and won't give it to her. The next time I buy the pieces separately, I'll also purchase a nicer box that looks like it would make a nice gift. I think it is understandable that the package was crushed during shipping because the packaging was minimal There isn't any reason to expect the storage box to hold up to anything as it is made of very thin cardboard. The one positive is that the colours of the wool/ bamboo, even if they are all smushed into a small (very small) baggie, are pretty. The document will be returned to you.
The spindle is great and the fiber is awesome! I definitely think the price was worth it!.
Having a spindle like this is nice, and there is a great deal of roving to practice with when you first get started. The kit is meant to be used as a starter kit.
Additionally, I did not receive the color of the image, but bright colors. There is no notch on the spindle, making it heavy. This is not a great game.
