Happy Classy Drop Spindle Top Whorl Yarn Spinning Hand Carved 12" Length

There was a problem with the wheel until it broke free. It's been a great first couple weeks for me. There was a problem with the wheel until it broke free. My spindle assisted me in creating very fine and thin yarn, and I was especially glad that it did. So long as the whorl (or wheel) doesn't fall off the dowel when it becomes loose. I am fixing it myself with super glue, but I would have liked it a little better if the company had glued it I would have loved to have been able to give the item 5 stars, but due to the fact that it broke after less than a month of use, I cannot do that with a clear.

The balance is completely out of whack. It is probably more suitable for beginners. To keep the yarn from snagging when it is wound and to make it comfortable to use, I sanded the shaft. There is a very tiny slot on the whorl, so it will only work with thin Considering that it is a larger spindle, I wanted to ply yarn with it, but the slot makes that difficult. After a few seconds, the spindle begins to wobble like crazy because the whorl isn't level. It's a lot easier for me to spin if I rest the shaft tip on the ground.

Since spinning has become my addiction, I can't live without it. My first spindle was this one, though I tried a few others, and liked it the best. It's probably a little heavy for laceweight, but I did the singles for plied sportweight on it with ease. As a result, it will hold a full 4 ounces of fiber instead of 2 to 3 oz. I got some other spindles as well. This is the perfect introduction to the game.

The reason I bought this was to learn how to drop spin. As a newbie, I'm sure there are better drop spindles, but I find this one to be perfect for me. This is a really smooth wood that does not catch on my roving in the slightest and I think it spins really beautifully.

I love the It is so nice to have I tried it out the evening it arrived after it was delivered quickly. I did not want to stop once I got started. started spinning with a lighter spindle and then moved up to something a bit larger and heavier after learning on a lighter spindle. There is no problem using the spindle, and it is easy to use. The price is favorable and I am happy with my purchase.
