Beginners will love how easy it is to control the spindle with this bowl. Wood types are something I do not know much about, but it seems to be a good weight. The spindle you are looking for is not very large if you want one that is.

The balance is perfect, and the spinning is smooth

The wood is unfinished, it has a great balance, and it spins smoothly. With one twist, drafting can take place for an unbelievable amount of time. Very cool!.

It is so much easier for me to spin this spindle than my other spindles because of the bowl and point. The number needs to be increased to three!.
