They are too big for my OLFA RTY- 2DX 9654. My OLFAS cutter has two notches, 180 degrees apart, in the cutout section in the middle of the blade, whereas the cutout section in the middle of the blade has three notches, 120 degrees apart.
They're on par with the Olfa brand in my opinion, and this blade is still going strong after a lot of cutting. I'm sure it all depends on the type of cutting you do and how often you change your blades. I have a bad habit of not replacing my blades as frequently as the manufacturer recommends. This, however, has not been a problem. I trimmed a quilt with 100% cotton batting as well as the binding as well as the binding as well as the binding as well as the binding as I used insul bright to make two sets of pot holders and cut out the pieces for a twin log cabin quilt. Somolux Rotary cutter 60mm blades can be used on a wide range of materials, including thin fabrics, of course. However, I believe that the smaller rotary cutter will make it easier to position the thin fabric on the cutting mat and achieve a more precise cutting size.

These blades are fantastic! Because I have arthritis in my wrists and hands, rotary cutters are difficult for me to use because they require downward pressure to operate. These blades effortlessly sliced through multiple layers of fabric. I didn't have to return to clean up any skips, either. There isn't a lot of pressure, and one-on-one attention is cut through the passage The only thing I didn't like was how much machining oil was left on the blades. I understand why it's necessary, but the large quantity made it difficult to separate the blades, and I had to wash the razor-sharp blade before using it on my fabric. Naturally, before I was finished, I managed to cut my fingers. I deducted a star because I needed to send my husband out to get bandaids, and the resulting groaning ruined my happy dance. But, without a doubt, this is a fantastic product.
These are so much better than my old blades in terms of sharpness. They're the perfect size for my 45mm cutter. I'm blown away by how quickly they arrived and how nice of a package they came in! They do have some oil, which you need, so the blades do get dull in the case, but it's easy to clean!.
I was hesitant to buy a knockoff, but I decided to give it a shot - After all, the price is unquestionably lower than that of the branded alternatives. I was astounded by how razor sharp they were when I first received them. Cutting through multiple layers of fabric, fleece, and stabilizer required almost no pressure at all. I make bags and wallets, which necessitates cutting through a variety of materials - This is where these blades come in handy! The only difference I've noticed is that they don't stay sharp as long as the name brand, in fact, the name brand appears to dull over time, whereas these work fine for a while and then go dull. That's fine; for the money saved, I get a lot more cuts per dollar with these, and they're sharper right out of the box than name brand, so I'll keep buying them.
These fit my Olfa cutter (which many others don't) and were reasonably priced. I have to pay $8 in most cases. At $1, these were a great deal compared to the official Olfa blades, which cost $99 each. 00 for each blade I'm currently using one; it's quite sharp, and we'll see how long it lasts. The good news is that at this price, I can change blades more frequently. I'm sure I'll be ordering more of these! Thank you very much.
Even when my rotary cutter was brand new, these were far superior to the original Fiskars blade. Even on single layer fabric, it was never sharp, had a skip, and required multiple passes. With one of these replacement blades installed, I was able to cut through four layers of fabric in one pass. The product is of excellent quality and value. For less than the price of a single Fiskars blade, which may or may not be of questionable quality, you can get ten of these. This is an item that I will buy again.
These blades are fantastic. For my Ofra rotary cutter, I've bought a lot of different types of discounted blades, and these are the best I've found on Amazon. Some of the others weren't as good as these, but I really like them. I'm going to keep buying them!.
I bought the Somolux blades after reading the reviews. I hope you can see how the new blade was so dull that the fabric was ripped to shreds in the photo. Can you see the fabric shards stuck to the blade of the rotary cutter? Two of the Somolux blades were dull when I tried them. The fabric was simply chewed up by both of them. It's a complete disaster! I eventually reverted to using the old blade, which resulted in better results.
I would strongly recommend them to anyone who cuts fabric. These blades are razor-sharp out of the box and will last a long time. These aren't used blades that have been refurbished. The price is unbeatable, as these are just over a dollar each. Why would anyone pay nine times the price for a brand name blade when these work just as well? Blades will become dull over time, and at this price, you can afford to replace them as needed. This is a brand that I strongly recommend.
