It's a soft, easy-to-work-with material. I've already used it to make a couple of cute plant hangers.
This cord is one of my favorites because it is so soft. a lovely color that matches the photos perfectly. I did discover that I needed to add a few more knots in order to achieve the desired diameter of the coasters. I own every color that is available. When they're back in stock, I can't wait to order the rest. I also appreciate the fact that I'm helping a brand-new small business.
In the ocean, I purchased two skeins. I'm new to macrame, and the color was very similar to what I saw online. As a result, I'm experimenting with various cord brands to see which ones I prefer to use. The presentation is fantastic - Each skein is packaged separately in its own box. Rolls that are very neat. However, with one of the two, I ran into the same issue that another reviewer did - There was a break in the cord about halfway through. It was aggravating, but I found a way to work around it. Around the same point, the second skein began to fray. However, this isn't a total break. So, fine, I noticed this cord is a little tougher than the last one. It's not as soft as it used to be, and it's wrapped very tightly. Part of me enjoyed working with it because it helped me keep my knots consistent and felt sturdy (despite the slight stretch). But my fingers craved the pliability and softness of another brand, and I discovered that letting the cord relax on the dowel overnight made it much more enjoyable. An excellent in-depth analysis Toughness and pliability are in a trade-off. Anyway, I included a photo to demonstrate the quality and color of the item. Brand with a high price tag. But it's something I'll remember for future projects. It's also appropriate for beginners, in my opinion. I hope this has been of assistance to someone.
This cord is extremely pleasant to the touch. I'm new to macrame, but it was a breeze to use for my project, and the color is stunning; I'm looking forward to making more pieces for my baby girl's room with it.
I found the cord color to be accurate, but it is on the thin side of 3mm (I didn't measure it, but all of my other 3mm from other brands are slightly thicker). The cord has a nice feel to it, but it isn't as soft as some others. If you're looking for a super soft cord that's a dream to work with, look for brands made in Turkey (they're usually more expensive, but the color and feel are incredible!). br>On the other hand, why is there so much packaging? If you don't have very soft/ sensitive skin and are looking for a combination of good price and good (but not exceptional) quality, this is probably your cord. br>br>On another note, why is there so much packaging? Every other cord I've ordered has been adequately protected by the simple plastic wrapping. I didn't deduct any points for this, but it would have been nice if they were more environmentally friendly. observant.
First time buying macrame cord, and I'm disappointed that I had to stop knotting on my project to figure out how to deal with these issues: fraying, cuts, knots, and different colors. br>I hate leaving a negative review, but I couldn't even send the company an email to express my dissatisfaction. I can't return them because I've already used half of the spool before I noticed the fraying and other issues. Unfortunately, I purchased two spools, both of which had fray and cuts. br>I sincerely hope that this is not the case with all cord. Quality control is poor, so if they're selling me cord that's in perfect condition, I'll pay full price. This cord was supposed to be on clearance!.
This cord was purchased in order to create macrame plant hangers. I had no idea macrame could be used for so many different projects, so I've been having a lot of fun with it. I like the color, and the cord is very soft. I can make a lot of things with it. I'd also like to point out that, despite its thinness, the cord is quite strong. I made a fairly large plant holder with the yarn on this spool, and I believe I could make a few more with it. I wish I had purchased more colors so that I could mix and match them, but I intend to do so soon. As you can see in the video, I ended up purchasing metal rings from my local hardware store, which were ideal for hanging my crafts. I found an easy plant hanger tutorial online and followed it for the plant holder. There are a plethora of them available, all of which are extremely simple to implement. This single spool, once again, was more than enough for me to complete several projects. I've bought other Nook Theory items in the past and have never been disappointed. As you can probably tell, I think this product is fantastic for all of the reasons stated above. The only criticism I have is that I did not purchase more than one color (which is easily rectified).
The packaging was attractive, but I believe there was an unnecessary extra layer of cardboard. The finished product is stunning. The color is deep and rich, but it captures light in such a way that it appears bright. Exceptionally well-made. The cord is soft and easy to work with, but it also has a lot of strength. I'm ecstatic to be a new client!.
