Sure, why not? Cricut Explore One, Air, Air 2, and Maker all work well with the Monicut cutting mat.
I bought it, and it came with three cutting mats. It was a pleasant surprise for me. It's less expensive than the Cricut mat that came with the machine.
I don't have a Shillouette, but you can use these if your Shillouette can interchange Cricut mats.
Yes, I use this mat with my Cricut Explore Air 2 to create my T-shirt designs. The shirt project held my vinyl well and was simple to release.

They're not even close to being Standard Grip. I would highly recommend these if you require extra-strong grip mats, but they did not work for cutting my vinyl stencils. When I went to remove the reusable stencil from the mat after my cricut had cut my stencil, I found that I could barely get it off, causing my stencil to crease and have air bubbles. Before inserting my stencil into the cricut, I did not press it down hard on the mat; instead, I gently patted my vinyl down as I do every time I prepare it for cutting. I'll see what I can do to reduce the adhesion so I don't waste $23 on three mats. Just keep in mind that it's so tacky that it tears vinyl when you remove it.
These mats are extremely attractive. It's very thick, but it's also very sticky. I didn't notice a problem until I tried to remove the vinyl after my cut. I even stuck the mat to my pants before placing my vinyl on it because it seemed to be more sticky than my usual cricut mat, but it still took me 45 minutes to remove the vinyl backing from the mat after that.
The light grip is more sticky than the Cricut brand and functions similarly to their "Standard" grip mat. It also leaves a slight sticky residue on all of my cardstock after I've peeled it off, which sticks to my table as I lay them out. This is fine for pieces that will be adhered anyway, but for items that require a nonstick surface, such as envelopes and the main body of my cards, I must return to the Cricut brand. It also doesn't work well with light cardstock or printer paper because it behaves similarly to the standard Cricut mat, which is too sticky. This will suffice if you require a standard grip mat and don't mind a slight tackiness on the back of whatever you're cutting.
This mat is every bit as thick and sticky as the Cricut mat, if not more so! It's a tough, well-made piece of furniture. It's the only 12x24" mat I'll ever buy.
I thought these were Cricut products, which was a mistake. I bought three of these a few days ago, and the adhesive faded after two or three cuts on each. I have 75 invitations to make, and I've only managed to make nine so far, wasting roughly 20 sheets of expensive card stock in the process. Please don't sell these on Amazon because they're a bad product.
Use 65lb cardstock for this project. With the Cricut, you can make intricate cuts. It's a different kind of glue than the name-brand stuff, and it lasts a lot longer. They must be lived. I've changed the order of things.
I ended up ordering the larger size for larger projects and am excited to put them to use!.
However, you must first get past the noxious chemical smell that the mats had when they were first delivered. It will take a long time for this odor to dissipate. Prepare for some issues with paper not wanting to come off the mat (especially lighter weight paper) because the mats are extremely sticky at first, but after a few uses, they will become less sticky and the paper will not rip when attempting to remove it. They're a good value for the price if you're willing to put up with the smell and excessive stickiness.
