Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if this is The homasote doesn't work well because the pins go through and u have to keep the shrink wrap on or else I guess you can't use it in the first place since it's just ?

It is not the case The material used for this board is like a softer foam material similar to what is used for flip-flops Flip flops are made of, or a bit softer than Although I am not aware of it going through, I am sure if you pushed really hard, you could get it to pass. Around the pin, the material closes in a sort of circular manner It's probably for this reason they say the event is "self-referential" The healing process". As soon as the pin is removed, the pin hole will close up. The shrink wrap does not have to be left

In the world of macrame, I am a beginner. To make plant hangers, I'd like to make some. Could I learn knots from this board, or do I need a smaller board for smaller ?

You can use this board for small projects, but it will have a great impact on your knot-learning abilities. You won't limit yourself to just plant hangers once you know how to do them, since you will want to do other projects as well The sky is the limit for your creativity when it comes to bracelets, necklaces, and wall hangings. It will make your life a lot easier if you do smaller projects with this board because you can learn knots and complete projects

The smaller 7 x 7 inches or the larger 14 x 10 inches is not deciding for me. Five by ten. It is 5 inches long. The smaller one will be enough to make hemp bracelets using macrame. Is there anybody who has ?

ended up buying the small one since, at the time, I wasn't as interested in making macrame jewelry, I had a customer who needed 6 bracelets for the team her daughter was on. The number of projects I have been making since then has been so great that I finally decided to upgrade to the larger one to make it easier to do Having to use the smaller one now, I wish I would have gotten the larger one from the start. Now that you're all set, go for the big one! It is well worth the money, and they last a lifetime!

The display case I have holds bowie knives. Will these hook onto it and hold them if I put the knives into the case first, and then cover it with the ?

That's not the case, according to me. There may be a problem with the length of the slits on the macrame board to accommodate a bowie knife.

This board is too small and too expensive
3/5

I bought the mini board because the size one was too expensive. The board is not self-healing, but it otherwise performs as expected. Although the foam will eventually break down over time, it is apparent that it will break This was $6 for the larger one (pictured on the right). I realized this was too small for many projects when I saw it. Large, inexpensive version I have made since I can't afford to buy a factory made one Using a stretched canvas from a painter and three layers of foam from a yoga mat I haven't used in ages. A piece of board my husband had in the garage is backing it up. A mini board is what I use for tiny microcomputers I use my homemade board as a power source for all of my macrame projects, like key chains and earrings The bracelets and necklaces can be hung from macrame string or used as.

I really like it
5/5

Foam that is soft. I wish this kind of board had been available back when I was doing macrame in the 70s! I really like it. This foam is easy to stick pins in and has self-healing characteristics, but is also stiff enough to prop yourself Those of you who were curious (like I was) about its thickness might be interested to know.

I recommend that you purchase it
5/5

It was a bit of a gamble for me to buy it. In any case, I recommend it 100%. It is not necessary to carry a clip to keep the thread in place. If you follow the photo how I show it, you do not need anything else to knit. Clips do not need to be put in and taken out. It's not heavy, it's quite strong, and I thought it could crack or get grate, but it is a pretty good product. I'm pleased with it. I recommend it. In my opinion, it is just the right size. It works just fine. It is a great app. I recommend it.

It was an impulse purchase that I am actually pleased with
5/5

During college (so 20 years ago), I did a lot of macrame and recently picked it back up once again. Although I don't have good work surfaces available at the moment, I saw a macrame board in a book that looked like the perfect solution and thought it would be perfect. The product I ordered was of very high quality and I am thrilled It is definitely large enough for bracelets and necklaces that I make, (for reference, I only make jewelry). I did not smell any of it when I ripped it open from There might have been some changes in manufacturing method or the item was older. I thought the material, as a whole, was in good condition. Tape has always been my favorite way to adhere things, and masking tape stuck to this one quite well. Since it doubled as a pincushion for a needle I was periodically using, I don't even see any marks from that use, so I'm pleased that it doesn't leave any marks when used that way. It turned out that I used the measurement grid, when I ordered it, but I did not anticipate that I would do so, but it turned out that I did and found that quite useful. A ruler is a lot more complicated and time-consuming than pulling it out. It is also attractive to me that there are indentations around the outside Perfect for holding jewelry cords that are thicker than the cords you'd use for making The strands I used for my earliest projects were relatively few (about four strands and not too complex a pattern), but I tried them out and thought they were great additions. It is a decent size to hold in your lap, but you might want to rest it against some kind of desk or table at the far end. In addition to being lightweight, it is about half an inch thick, as well as rigid, with only a little give in the material. The main problem appears to be that it does not adhere to It has a non-slip surface, which is great.

Despite never having heard of a macrame board before, I am now a big fan, and I plan to use it a lot in the future.

Beaded wrap bracelets can be made with this
5/5

As part of my jewelry making plan, I needed a board to wrap beaded bracelets with. As an alternative to a clip board, this works perfectly.

Children under the age of 15 should not play this game
3/5

The first thing I notice about this is that it's well designed. It was a nicely designed board. I returned it, however. Having just bought this board for my granddaughter, she wants to create bracelets and other items with it. It was not mentioned in the description of the board that it was not intended for children under 15 years of age. The fine print at the bottom didn't occur to me until after I received it. Several reviewers have commented that the product is made of chemicals. This left me very skeptical about the product,.

Friendship bracelets would look amazing with this
5/5

You won't regret using this board! The friendship bracelets I use can now stay straight because I can keep them organized. As well as making cleaner, tighter, and more uniform knots, the board helps me improve my knotting techniques. Compared to the clipboard that I had previously rigged, this is much better. The first bracelet was a little difficult to get, but once I got the hang of it, I got them done quicker.

I think this is the best
5/5

All the essentials can be found on this board. Dimensions, durability, and the ability to stick T-shirts The pins are on the outside. To me, the best feature is the fact that your lines are taut regardless of angle because the cuts on the sides help you maintain that. This is the first time I am using a board since all the others I have bought have not had long Using this feature is a great idea. A line can be clearly seen and measurements are easy to read. This is definitely a plus for anyone who does.
