It's very soft and very supple. It's not structured enough for things that require one. The edges of the piece are well defined. Additionally, it encounters snags from time to time. It is, however, a very good product overall My next purchase will be this one.

Beginner macrame artists will love this cord! To finish my first two macrame projects, I used this cord. In addition to being a great cord for learning knots, it also does not unravel too easily while you are working with it. I messed up a lot of knots and undid knots all the time, but both my projects turned out terrific! Knowing how macrame cords work now that I have worked with other cords, I can appreciate - What a twisted one this The only complaint I have is that halfway through using the cord, there would be a break in the cord - I bought this cord twice in the last two years and each time the cord broke- I had to buy both ends, which meant the beginning of the second strand. So the cord did not come as a single chain, but rather as two separate chains. The news wasn't so major, but it was still something we hadn't expected.

I've used it to make a macrame plant hanger and am very pleased with the results! It is natural for the ends to fray slightly as they move about as you cut them, but that is the look I was hoping for In general it is pretty sturdy, and I have been able to untie some of the knots I have made without ruining or fraying the cords in the middle, Including a little booklet on macrame knots, this is the perfect gift. While this is a nice cord, I prefer my macramé cords to have To use beads, you must glue the ends of this fabric if you want it to unravel. For plant hangers with beads, this may work well, but not so much for wall hangings.

I was short of 35YDS on my spool! Four of these spools will be used to make a large wall hanging in macramé. A spool of yarn was used as a starting point. When I started the project I measured out my cords on the ground. With this project, I took up 200 yards in cord. My spool ran out before I finished cutting all the cord. I added up all the cord I cut and the total came out to 185 yards in cord. Therefore, the distance quoted is 35 yds shorter than the stated distance. bought 4 of these, and I am short on each spool, then I have been short 140 yds in There are a lot of people in that picture. My disappointment is that the quality is excellent, but the price is outrageous. There seems to be no direct way to contact the store. There is no way I can return this item, because I need to fulfill orders in the next week and I need to use the cable I started with. As soon as possible, we will find out if there are any short spools. As I measure, I will record the results.
