LOVE THE CORDING IN THIS MUSIC VIDEO! There is nothing I dislike about it. It's soft, easy to use, frays beautifully and overall it's I've bought other cording at Michael's that was more like rope but this particular cording is not stiff like that. My hanging planters are a huge hit! I have made countless ones just from this cord. I will definitely be buying more of those, and may even try the 4mm when I have time, as I currently use the 3mm. It's also great because I've made at least 4 or 5 hanging planters and still have quite a bit of cord left, which is great for the price.
Trying macrame for the very first time Thus far, I have not encountered any problems on this project.
Also, this is a 3mm rim. I'm not sure if those who say it's less than 3mm have the wrong item.
My macrame cord is about 1mm thick, not 3mm. I've worked with many cords as a macrame artist and this is in the range of 1 to 2mm. There are 5m. You can use this if you don't mind a tiny cord.
It is softer than we imagined. Because it's unbleached, it's a more beige color than photographed, but that was to be expected.
I initially thought the 3mm cord I ordered was too small compared to the others I've worked with. I have since contacted customer service and my assessment was changed. There seems to have been three projects going on at once. I've ordered from a few different places and I have never been really happy but this is both the best and most affordable cord I've found. As soon as I begin using it in some of my projects, I will be amazed at how wonderful it is.

To begin with, let me say it has taken me longer than usual to rate this seller and product. That is purely my own fault (health issues), and not because of the retailer and product. The cord was very soft and it was a pleasure to work with. When it comes to ease of use with my hands, this cord is by far the best I have used. Having said that, the only thing I disliked about it was how quickly it unravelled/untwisted. A new pattern was tried with a new cord. That may have been part of my fault. I tied everything, untied everything, etc. until I had the result Each time, it unraveled a little more, and I had to tie knots higher and higher to keep it from unraveling. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars in the "for beginners" category. As far as I am concerned, I am certainly not an expert.
