I haven't tried it myself, but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to. I brushed them smooth in silicone molds and coated them with epoxy, which worked beautifully.
Putting something like this in soap is definitely not a good idea. Once the flakes have been broken down, it will be extremely difficult to get off. Whether it's the tub or your skin, I don't think it's worth the trouble. I hope this information is useful! Best of luck:
I didn't have any problems with no.
I'm not sure, but I think the edible flakes would be good for face painting. If you're painting children, this is especially important.

This was a blunder on my part. The color bled all over the place when I used the foil flakes in resin. Instead of remaining clear, clear resin turned the color of the flakes, completely ruining the project I was working on. If I could, I'd give this a 0 out of 5 star rating. I would strongly advise against purchasing.
I was blown away by the size of the bottles! In addition, the colors are simply stunning! I paid the same price for half the amount of flecks at a local craft store. This is a fantastic deal!.
When you try to pull some out of the containers because there are so many, it spills over. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's a pain to deal with. The flakes are nice and big, and the colors are vibrant. All of them failed when tested in a nail polish base. The vibrant hues bled into the foundation. The precious metals gold and silver The color of rose gold remained the same, but the gleaming metallic sheen was lost. Those tweezers, though, were worth the test for science. 🙌.
This was an incredible bargain. I mean, I'm completely taken aback. I do nails and wanted some of this to use in nail designs, but the tiny jars were all over the place and cost several dollars. (As a comparison, I posted a photo of them next to a jar of glitter I had of the same size. ) And these are completely full to the brim. I mean, I'm completely blown away! As you can see in the photos, the colors are vibrant and beautiful. At $11. These foils are a complete bargain at 99 cents each! I can't say enough good things about them! I'd say I'll buy them again, but with such a large quantity, I doubt I'll need to do so in my lifetime. lol.
After being let down by another foil flake purchase, I decided to write a review for this one. I believe this product has turned me into a product snob. The size and quantity of foil flakes in each bottle astounded me. I've been using these flakes in my resin work for months and have not had a single issue with them, unless the bottle was overflowing and I couldn't keep all the flakes contained in the bottle when I first opened it. I would gladly purchase a second set in different colors if they were offered. On the value for money scale, I would happily give it a ten-star rating.
Each jar contains a large quantity of foil flakes with vibrant colors. I've tried all eight colors with UV and casting resin, and they're fantastic. They even include a set of tweezers that make placing the flakes in molds a breeze. I will definitely order this product again because it is such a good deal.
For those who have used textured flake in the past, the gold, copper, and silver retain that look, while the other colors are more or less all shiny and smooth without texture, if that makes sense. Colored flakes with a texture similar to gold, silver, or copper were what I was looking for. They're all still lovely, and I'm sure I'll be able to incorporate them into my resin projects.
They aren't particularly user-friendly, but that is the nature of the beast when it comes to these. They're very light and floaty, and they cling to things easily, which can make working with them frustrating at times. However, the end result is well worth the effort.
