The product is of good quality. I've used it for a few art projects and it works well when you pick it up with the material placed between the sheets. Using a damp paintbrush to pick up the sheets proved ineffective. If you lay the leaf down smooth and wait for the glue to dry before brushing off the excess, it will work beautifully, and depending on the size of your piece, you may only need to redo a couple of areas.
yes.
No, I do not believe that is true. It isn't long enough to withstand the abuse that jewelry endures.
It's extremely flimsy. I'm not sure if baking them will keep them from falling apart. They're used in my false nail art designs.

A lot of the sheets were frayed on one side, and a lot of the divider sheets were bent. This packet of foil papers is extremely messy to use because of the bent sheets and small pieces of shredded gilding. Will not reorder, despite the fact that the parts of the sheet that are intact appear to be in good condition. br>br>UPDATE: This review was upgraded from a two-star rating to a three-star rating. the first group - 4 out of 5 stars The company got in touch with me and sent me a new set of sheets that were clean and unshredded. That means a lot to me. The old ones were still usable, but they were such a mess that I was glad to get rid of them and replace them with ones that don't gild me while I'm gilding a project, or at least do it less often. Because I'm still learning how to do this.
This product is fantastic, and it looks and feels exactly like the real thing. For a large quantity of sheets, this is a fantastic price!.
They work well for me, and the quantity for the price is incredible when compared to hobby and art store prices. I painted them with acrylics and used gel medium to adhere them to the canvas. I'm quite pleased with the result.
I've been using these in resin art and am very pleased with how well they've worked out. Each gold, silver, or rose leaf sheet is packaged between two thin sheets of paper. They're definitely delicate to work with: I chose to use a pair of small tweezers right away to gently tear off bits and pieces of what I needed to set into the art piece because the edges of a few sheets were a little ripped upon arrival (due to packaging into the plastic bag, I suppose), but there were no huge chunks lost or torn apart. These are extremely clingy - In fact, they adhere to my silicone molds with a static electricity cling before I can even get them all the way inside! br>br>Of course, using them is a little tricky, but for what they can do, they are well worth the price and amount!.
It was perfect for the diamond painting theme, and it's a gift for my granddaughter. It's a hit with her!.
It wasn't until I bought a different brand of foil that I realized the reason I wasn't getting as much detail work through was because this foil doesn't tear away as easily as other brands. However, for the money, this is a good product.
I bought the Speedball Adhesive and Sealant that had been recommended to me. They complement each other perfectly. After watching a few tutorials, I started experimenting with the three colors. It's a delicate material to work with, but the results are stunning if you do it right. It comes highly recommended!.
