I think it will be in the short term. Despite this, the foam isn't really designed for long-term use outside and getting wet or exposed to heat will cause it to deform over time, as it is designed to be heated in order to form it. You won't be able to complete your work on a good 80 or 90 degree day.
There are two types of EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) co-polymers There are polymers. Neither formaldehyde nor phenol plays a role Sandwich bags are made from EVA formed thermoplastically, with vinyl acetate blended with polyethylene that contains about 4% vinyl acetate content. In accordance with EVA, it cannot be used It is not toxic or biologically active A reactive reaction.

Thick and sturdy, it is a good choice. But when you cut it to fit your shadow box it will emit a horrible petroleum scent. I wouldn't even call it a minor odor. As soon as the smell is released into the room, the room becomes filled with it. Even though the smell will dissipate slowly, your shadow box will still possess a faint odor for a long time. It may not be healthful. The product you are about to purchase should not be purchased!

When you want to make armor for cosplay, this thickness is perfect. This material was used to make a great deal of my armor. You are limited to the size of the pieces that you can make since the sheets are not very large. The sheets you buy for details and smaller pieces are better than the large sheets you would buy for providing the shape What you get is a good deal for the price. A new blade on my utility knife allows me to cut easily, the Dremel and Heat Gun allow for nicely shaped edges, and contact cement makes glueing it together simple and convenient.
My advice to anyone thinking about using this foam is to avoid it for any type of crafts or for anything that is going to be kept inside. It was impossible for me to work with this foam without feeling nauseated and sick to my stomach. A very very strong chemical smell permeates the foam, and it can't air out fully. As if Harbor Freight smelled like 500 times as much as it did.
A very stinky smell as well. Luckily, the size of this stuff was exactly right in one dimension -- I bought it to line a box that was 9" wide. I checked it several times to make sure, since it's not every day that you get your math right from the beginning. The odds are not usually that good for me. As soon as I opened the package, two things happened 1) My sense of smell was assaulted by an overwhelming scent of off-the-wall There is foam gassing. There is no doubt it is Put the stuff in your garage or shed, outdoors if you can, ahead of time. Let it air out as much as possible. It's so strong that it makes my eyes water. I find it to be so unpleasant that I can't stand it. 1) The dimensions are not actual, but nominal. When I tried to use this foam for a box with a 9" diameter, I was surprised that its width didn't go across the entire box. In order to be sure that I hadn't lost my mind, I measured it again I did indeed measure the box, and it is still 9 inches Rather than two-inch foam, this is actually eight-inch foam The dimensions are 1. 7/8" x 11" 7/8" in diameter. This is disappointing, since I will not get the yield I expected given the inaccurate dimensions that were provided. Apart from that, it seems like it is a tough anticipate that it will make an admirable job of creating a custom-cutout box liner once it has been air-dried a bit.
Craft projects are great with it, but the smell is awful. I took my sheets out of the plastic packaging and let them dry out before use, which will help, although that smell appears endemic to the product. My sheets were supposed to be 6mm thick, but Amazon filled the order (not the supplier) and they were 3 or 4mm. Amazon replaced them when I tried to replace them, so I didn't try to Here is a simple and excellent way to do so Materials for the construction of 28 There are a great many uses for this 32mm wargaming scale, including buildings, ruins, walls, etc. For those who aren't into wargaming, there are a lot of crafts you can make with it. When cut into 1/4 to 1/2 inch strips, this material can be used to replicate bricks or blocks easily (make a small v-cut to make it easy to use Bricks are cut into the desired shape every 3/4 inch or so), providing easy and fast construction of brick/block walls (fences) and sides. Every other row should be offset by half the length of a single block to keep the course looking natural. It can be cut very easily by using a hobby knife (xacto, craft, carton cutter, etc. ) and will hold together nicely with white glue (after it has sufficiently cured). Simply place a pin along the edge of the 90 degree corners or along the length of the pieces to help hold them together while the glue dries for extra strength. Though I have not painted the material yet, I am certain that I can do so with a veneer of acrylic medium, spackle, white glue, and sand (replicating concrete), or something similar. The decision on that is yet to be made as I have not tried yet. I like it a lot!.
Applied to a cosplay project, it worked very well! Despite searching for something with a size double this one, I was unable to find it. The sheet I used was made up of two, so I contact-cemented them together.
I'm not aware why adhesion is listed and these ones don't LOL Anyway, they're cheap and they work. I use these sheets to spread the pressure more evenly on suspension/race car seats where soft foam is layered over them and to cover rub points. They have a decent durometer, but if you are using them for padding, then they are fine. To minimize the soft top slap that occurs when the top is rolled down, I spray adhered some to the top of my Jeep's roll cage as well. You can use it for so many things. As with most foams, it does have an unpleasant smell to it, you have to let the volitiles air out for a day or two in the garage after opening the package. The product is excellent, I will buy it.
This smells like poison from a few feet away. It's been a week now, and it still does. My best attempt at describing the smell is that it smells like fresh plastic, but the odor is really strong, almost as if there are vapors of strong paint involved. The pens serve their purpose well, and if I had to buy them again, I would do so. I do not like the smell, omg. You may need to leave each one outside to air out for about a month to get the smell out. I've noticed the smell is just as strong after a week as it was on day one.
Making crafts with this foam sheet is easy. It is extremely easy for them to paint with acrylic. I was pleased with how they came- Despite their slightly off-smelling characteristics, they were well packaged and cut to the same size they were all perfectly cut. However, if you are familiar with EVA foam, you will not be surprised by this point. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
