There are 4 ounces in each carton. While I rarely edge band, for the very few times I have done so, I used a box cutter to get the edges neat. When I did that, I changed the workpiece into a flat position on the table so that the edge that needed trimming rested there. That's why I'm looking forward to seeing how convenient it is for me to try this. I feel solid when using the product. Sturdy plastic and a weight of three pounds combine to give this unit a premium look. There are 4 ounces in each carton.
