Reading the reviews has made me so glad that I discovered that this trimmer measures a paper width of at least 6 inches wide. The other popular brand of binder paper at Michaels that is cheaper with coupons measures to only 5" wide. With this brand, there is no guessing and I always get a precise 5 1/2" wide cut. I'm unsure how I would cut with the Friskars brand. It would probably be better to approximate or measure everything and mark it all. There is no need to do so with the Bira. In order to be able to be able to sharpen my nails quickly, I wanted a quick trimmer. There are several things I can grab and use about this one, but there are no nice features. While testing with a variety of papers, it failed to cut a line that would cross the length of the blade, often bending the paper and cutting an uneven line, making it almost all but pointless. I am very disappointed that I had to spend the money for this and was not.

This is love at first sight for me! I can leave this cutter on my desk for a while while I work on cards, scrapbooks, and journals. It cuts very well and leaves no dust on my desk. During my shopping I noticed that this same cutter is being sold for more at We R Memory than at other shops. There is only a small difference between the two in that the base has a different design grid where you line up the paper and The one I chose was less expensive, so of course I went with it. There is no disappointment at all for me. My favorite feature of this one is the fact that it gives the measurements, where as other smaller cutters only are My paper has to be cut where, but how do I know when to do that? It is imperative for me to have measurements in 1/8" increments. All of my other Bira Craft products have been excellent, and I have never been disappointed. The products so far have all been of good quality and at a great price. The products they sell will continue to be purchased by me when the need arises.

There are many different brands of paper cutters that I have tried to find one that cuts straight but none have worked. This is the last time! Christmas was the perfect time to give my son this trimmer. tried out the Bira brand first before I gave it as a gift, since I was unfamiliar with it. This was a fantastic film - I loved it all I found this trimmer to be the best trimmer in every way. It has a perfect size, a sharp blade, and it produces accurate straight cuts. (My son has used many different trimmers over the years) agrees that Bira is by far the best and only trimmer that makes a straight, even Besides the one I'm ordering, I'm planning to get another one. The only reason I was not able to use it for what I needed was because it was too small. To cut some paper in one swoop, I had to expand it to make it longer, but I couldn't get it to line up perfectly when I cut, moved, then continued cutting. This was not because of My husband liked the sharp blade and it did a good job cutting. However, I keep it anyway for any little jobs that I may do in the future.

Whether you work in a small office or in a small setting, this is ideal. Due to how light it is, it can easily be moved. I do not like how light it It may not be entirely accurate, but it needs to be for the bookmark I am Better quality is definitely worth the money spent.
