Over the years I have used a few glass cutters, but this kit of glass cutting tools is brand new for me. The tool kit is not listed on the website, but it really is There are 9 pieces in this kit for less than 16 dollars. The case is zippered nylon, the tools are all organized and there are little empty spaces for things you decide to include. I really like the feel of the cutter. I like its weight, which makes it easier to control your cuts. The blade is exceptional. It cuts It was amazing, I only did some cuts to get a feel for how the tool worked. If you want to make a good decision, make sure to look at the other listings. The majority were 2x as expensive and only came with a couple of There are nine items in this kit. For over 75 dollars, I found the exact same tools. This is definitely a 5 star rating. It was a pleasure doing business with you. As always, thank you.
It has been 2 weeks since I have had these and tried to use them. In the first place, the instructions didn't come with them so you'll have to guess what to do. I have tried everything to use the cutter, but it is not very effective. Holding the glass with the other large pliers is okay. The one for nipping is so dull that it doesn't work. We've been using them under a shade cover and umbrella for quite some time and the pliers already appear to be rusting. It is impossible for them to get moist. A very hot and dry climate has also been prevailing recently. There is nothing good about this set. Make sure you save.
A glasswork tool is useful, not for professional work, but for occasional use. In spite of the fact that I cut long and short, I never broken a glass. If you've never cut glass before, watch a few videos from vendors before you go for it, but this set taught me that cutting glass is not an attribute of superhumans.
My purpose for purchasing this was to cut mirror glass that is a quarter of an inch thick. Despite not having a professional glass cutter's skills, this only made a mess of what I was trying to do. If I keep it or return it, I won't use it again, but I don't know how to handle it either.
The kit worked well and was easy to use. The cutter could have used some oil, but I don't have a complaint as it worked well and I was able to make 1/4 inch cuts quite easily.
My knowledge of glass cutting is still developing. The set is a good beginner set for me to begin with, and then I can gauge how well it works.
I appreciate your help.
In the pliers, the pads were so stuck together that separating them caused them to break apart, and they were no longer usable. I had to wrap it in electrical tape before I could use it.
