As soon as the glass has been scored, the groziers start to pull little pieces of glass away. Due to a set of running pliers that I received that did not work, I left As a result, the company contacted me and I sent them pictures, so they reacted as well. A pair of new ones was sent to me after they were repaired and engineered. Now that the new ones are working perfectly, everything is fine. I was very pleased with the customer service provided. They work as intended and appear to be made There is no way you are going to squeeze these hard against glass, so they should hold up fine. This is not going to be used in a production system, only occasionally. * There is an anti-corrosion protective coating. There is a coating of rust on these that is somewhat sticky, but can easily be removed with.

There are a few details missing on the running pliers, but overall they're very good

Despite having a notch in the middle of the running pliers, it was hard to match up the score line on the glass and work out the best way to break it. In addition, the running pliers lack a spring mechanism, making it hard either to position them onto the glass or tighten them once they have been positioned, but overall, both tools do the job.

A pair of Premium Glass Running Pliers and Grozier Pliers were purchased. It has been 35 years that I have been creating stained glass. It is not a Premium brand, it is cheap stuff. The doors barely open and close after having been oiled with a In both running pliers the jaws are ground in the opposite direction from what should be done. It is important to hold them upside down with the marker line in the opposite direction of as you would normally. Junk of the highest quality. The price is definitely not worth it.

Using the running pliers for their purpose will render them useless since they have no curve to them. As these were received as a gift, I regret their return as they have past the return time. Take a look somewhere else.
