The world is a better place with this! To be able to free motion quilt lap-size quilts, I picked up this basting spray
3/5

Spritz and lay is very easy to use (easy to wash out of the fabric), and it is easy to reposition once it's dried. Only drawback is that I only manage to make one quilt out of one can, even though I use twice as much as most people. (I like to use a jersey knit, so I also use it to apply water soluble interfacing to the top and bottom of the quilt. ) Using this spray has saved me a lot of time since I was previously pinning. Also, the pieces don't bunch when they come out. As a bonus NONE OF YOUR PINS WILL STICK! It has never caused me any problems, and I'm on my sixth can with no problems.

There can be defects with this product
5/5

Normally it is a very good product. It does the job well. It cannot, however, if the contents will not be able to drain from it. The last of my previous can finally ran out and I ordered this one before it was all gone. Avoid doing what I did, which was to wait until you run out of water before testing It took me a long time to wait and I was There is no sound to be heard. The cap was removed, the bottle was turned upside down, and I tried There is nothing. My opinion of it is not good. It took me a while to get a hold of the company before I posted The company has an email address for you to contact them, but you receive a message saying the email could not be delivered. A response from the company regarding another person's comment that the can did not spray made its way to me. When I go to refund a product, I discover it cannot be returned because it is flammable. So now I have to finish my projects using this can and no spray. It is not possible to return an item purchased online, so I will not be purchasing online again.

In a nutshell, this is magic in a jar
3/5

There's nothing better than this stuff. As someone who is new to quilting, I took on a project that was not what you would expect to find in a pieced quilt. First, I used it to tack down all of the states before blanket-stitching them. In spite of my needle getting gummed up, I managed to stitch them by machine. After awhile, some people have complained that pieces began to lift up. To be fair, my pieces were so peculiar in shape, and some of them were so small. It was only a couple of the Hawaiian Islands that came off, and that was after folding and twisting about a week of doing that. This is a great product!.

No water will wash it away
4/5

The wreath I embroidered for my 36 xmas gifts for kids and grandkids was ruined. The corner of the dish towels were covered in little clumps of glue around the picture I put on them. I've washed it three times and it won't come.

This is an outstanding hold, and comes in handy in a lot of ways
3/5

I thought it would be hard to use, but it worked wonderfully. Not too bad in terms of odor, holds tight, and holds well. The smell (well it kinda does smell like Desenex Foot Powder, but not really so bad. 1) Using the spray needs a bit of practice. Tasting it for several minutes leaves it tacky. Likewise, you can replace pieces by lifting them up, but you have to be careful not to stretch the diagonal grain since they can end up very tightly pressed together. A piece of stuffed animal I had got crumpled up and wrinkled and found that one of the best things to do was to not try to straighten it without lifting it up at its base. If you want it back straight, you must take the glued piece off and then reattach it The setting has been set. I have spent much more than this on other quilting sprays and only got one side glued to the batting, and only half of the front to be glued. I have already used this little can to applique the entire front, attach the backing to the batting, attach the front to the batting, and attach the quilting paper to the front, and it is still nearly half full though. There are a few reasons for my rating of four instead of five stars, however. The only reason is that contrary to the package claims, it does produce little gummy balls on the needle after a while. They are easily removed,.

It is regrettable that I tried it at all
5/5

Only three sprays of this product worked before it clogged the sprayer so thoroughly that even soaking in hot water did not unclog it. Despite thinking that I had fixed the problem, instead the spray was coming out of the bottom of the spray gun and soaking my fingers and thumb, causing them to freeze had to remove my nail polish to get it off my nails and the stuff on my table, but managed to get it off my fingers and the stuff on my table. It is regrettable that I tried it at all. Since I didn't send it back, I didn't do anything about it As a matter of fact, I threw it away. The idea was great, but the execution was poor. Pins are the only thing I will use in the future.

The stencil is used for the stenciling process
5/5

Using this product helps me attach my stencils before painting, and I find it works The finish is slightly tacky after the paint dries, but you can smooth a smooth cloth over it afterward and it should eliminate the tacky appearance. This works great for holding stencils in place while allowing the stencil to be redisplayed and repositioned without tearing the stencil when it is pulled off after painting (just make sure to pull the stencil off before the paint dries for a clean edge).
