Questions & Answers
I used them on the backs of tiles for a craft project and they worked great, but I'm not sure what you're talking about. Sorry
I needed to take out about a quarter to a half inch. there are two sides I created a sample by calculating the amount of material I needed to remove. To ensure that the cut was accurate and straight, I used a ruler and a fine line black marker. I used a small wood cutting board on an appropriate surface, such as a craft mat, because I wanted to make sure that when using a single edge 11 blade, I could apply enough pressure to ensure a straight, clean edge without breaking it. br>It works flawlessly! You can use this first one as a pattern and skip the step of drawing a line on each piece of cork. This was the most effective method for obtaining a smooth, ragged-edged edge. Make sure to place the blade against the ruler to ensure that each piece is cut cleanly and straightly. Keep the paper in place, as well. I tried cutting with scissors, but the edges all crumbled. Don't worry if the black line shows; simply place the edge of your ruler over the line; I know it sounds like a long process, but once you get started, it'll go quickly and you'll have an edge that looks exactly like the original. best of luck!
If you're inquiring about the adhesive's strength, you've come to the right place. They stay put and don't need to be lifted. I would not hesitate to do so.
We've always used felt pads that stick on the legs of the furniture because we're not sure if the adhesive would harm the flooring. I don't believe the cork would be thick enough to support the chair/recliner or sofa's weight and movement.

I saw these and they were very simple to put on (lucky for me, they were the exact size I needed). If you make a mistake when putting them on, you can easily remove them and re-apply them. in a position to rectify the situation I've had them on for about a month and have had no problems with them peeling off on their own. I'm sure you could rip them off if you needed to for some reason. I did make sure to put some heavy books on them after I got them on right for a little while to ensure they adhered well, but overall, I'm very happy with them and will order more when I need more. br>br>One point to consider (which has no bearing on me but may be of interest to others) is that I believe the size is nominal. I was given a 3-inch size. br> 15/16" x 3" x 15/16" x 3" x 3 15/16".
I was hesitant to buy these because of the negative reviews, but my kids wanted to make coasters with the cricut and give them out to friends, family, neighbors, teachers, and just about everyone on our list this year, so it seemed like the perfect project. I spent a week looking at different self adhesive cork backing's for the tiles I got and I finally decided to go with these despite what people we talked to. I bought coasters to match the ones I already had in my house, and for $11 you can't go wrong.
I bought them to try out a few different ideas and while the sticky part works for one of them, they are very flimsy and many of them were already broken/beat up when they arrived yesterday, so I will not be buying them again. Those that aren't broken I will find a project or use for, but I wasn't particularly "happy" with my purchase. That doesn't rule out the possibility that someone else will be, so best of luck.
I bought these to use on the backs of the Travetine tiles that I'm mod podging with photos. I don't want them to get any thicker than they already are. I slapped it on the back, but it looked as if I'd just thrown it there. But then I went around the edges with a sanding block. Wow. It worked, and the cork is now smooth and tidy around the edges. I didn't have to do much sanding or trimming. They were ideal for the task at hand.
So it depends on what you want to do with these; we wanted to use them on the bottoms of our round coasters. Unfortunately, when you cut them into a different shape, they tend to crumble. Also, we used a different adhesive because they stuck, but I was concerned that they would come apart over time; they aren't bad, but we need to figure out a better way to cut them so they don't crumble as much. However, I'm confident they'll work fine if you use them as is.
These are the second time I've ordered them, and they're perfect for my 4x4 tile coasters. The only criticism I have is that they are not always accurate with the count. There are 30 as advertised on occasion, and 29 on other occasions.
They're of excellent craftsmanship. I didn't have to cut or measure anything because you did it for me. They are the ideal size and adhere to the surface extremely well.
These have excellent adhesion, are simple to use, and last a long time. They are of excellent quality, have a good thickness, and have long-lasting adhesion. Used for items such as soap dispensers, sponge holders, and decorative glass items that are placed on granite counter tops. It's great for anything you want to put on scratchy surfaces. It's a great way to keep the surface from getting scratched. They have a strong hold on the surface and do not fall off. Simple to work with.
