Remove the protective layer carefully as it is difficult to do so

Works well, but it is extremely difficult to get rid of the peel off layer without tearing up the fabric beneath.

I use it to stick cross-stitchings to and hang them without using a frame or hoop. There is only one complaint, and that is that they are hard to cut with scissors they don't work with an exact.

My first impression was that it would be foam board

It was quite different from what I thought, because I thought it was gonna be 1/4 inch foam board, but it was really a bit of cardboard barely thicker than a sheet.

A cross stitch needle is needed

To finally finish cross stitch items, the sticky board was needed. It helped me out a great deal, arrived as promised, and most importantly, accomplished what I needed.
