Boards of this type are made from foam core. A quarter of an inch thick, they're about 24" long. The 16"x20" prints I got at Costco fit nicely and mounted well.
Since they are only 1/4" thick, they are not very effective as insulation. Other options would be good.
Although I have never used them as puzzle pieces, it sounds as though they would be great. It is not necessary to add extra glue. However, you might have to cut the board to get it to the right size.
It is not necessary to do anything else. By peeling the protective sheet off, you will be able to reveal the sticky side. The prints will stick well directly on If you dry your hands, they should be able to go for about 30 seconds Make sure you lay out all your photos before you expose the adhesive side. The photos can get damaged if you try to remove them after the adhesive has fully set. It means you should not intend to take the photos off the foam and use them Using a ruler or a piece of paper, place the print at one edge of the foam and then gently press it into place while squeezing out air bubbles. When you smooth the print, wear a cotton glove to prevent it from getting scratched. A 16x20 collage print can be found at Costco. You can get all of your images on a single sheet of photo paper for $6 and the images are automatically sized and laid out according to your specifications. This would be ideal for a display at weddings or parties.

They will be used to mount enlarged photos in my home photo studio to hang. As long as I was able to align my 16x20 photo perfectly on the board the first time, and continue to attach the remainder without a single bubble, then everything would have been fine. In reality, neither of these things are highly likely, so my print wanted to stick to the board. Making minor adjustments to perfect align the photo and the board resulted in huge wrinkles and tears in my print, which ultimately ended up in the trash. It sounds like I should be using some of the other repositionable products out there, which have been advertised as such. As far as mounting a 16x20 photo to the same size board, you will need to be a professional if you intend to use these in smaller sizes or if you plan to mount a smaller photo and then cut it to size.
I received these in good time and they were I don't have any complaints about the product, and it works as expected. Although I have not attempted to cut the material yet, I intend to use these as small mounting squares for shadowboxes to add depth to my photos. Due to the need to use one entire sheet as background for my shadowbox, this product adhered well to a sheet of rice paper. Only problem is that the shrink wrap is so tightly clinging to the 4 boards that it is difficult to take off with a sharp knife. Furthermore, removing the backing paper from the adhesive side of the boards takes some patience. I think this is a decent product. Thank you.
I was so surprised to find out I had ordered the regular non adhesion version when I tried to remove the back on the first piece. The other portions were fine, but it was a little battered on the edges, so they'll have to be trimmed. The 16 x 20 won't work for something exactly that size.
I need these to accomplish what I'm trying to.
A 16 x 0 inch size is stated on the product. There are actually less than 8 x 20 inches and instead there are fewer than I have a thick frame of 25. There is no doubt that even the image of the product shows a much thicker material than it really The item was intended to be used to mount photographs in galleries, but ended up being.
Gymnasium walls would be ideal for this.
