This was previously rated 5 stars but now only receives a It has almost exactly been a year since I purchased it. The glue sticks I am using are of high quality. The glue gummed up in the opening between the front and back part of the one someone else showed to me and I am also experiencing this problem. Even after a few attempts, I couldn't get any glue out. There is a lot of leakage now. (I've been constipated pushed the trigger far past the point where it was supposed to stop as it clicked past the stage where it was supposed to As far as I can tell, it is horribly inconsistent and nearly impossible to use. I am in the process of looking for a new one. It has worked exactly as expected so far. ************** Old Review************** This product has performed as expected so far. Earlier this year, I bought one for my daughter to take to college. My very inexpensive glue gun's trigger stopped working, so I borrowed hers and was pleasantly surprised at how it worked. It's just a few simple items, so there is nothing to get She let me borrow hers so I had to order my own. During the six weeks it took for hers to arrive, they updated hers so the slider switch now states high and low. Hers was the only thing that bothered me about it. It's possible to turn off auto shutoff with this feature. My first impression was that the smaller one did not have this feature, so I was ecstatic when I found out it does. I went back and labeled hers with a label maker (I was trying to recall when I first ordered it. ) Hopefully I won't have any problems in the future. I will update my review if the need arises.

This glue gun works well but I personally would prefer one that is heavier and smaller, so that it will fit in my hands better. When I set it down, it is easy for me to knock it over, and sometimes it will fall over if I am not paying attention. I also have an issue with most glue guns related to the power cord. Are the manufacturers thinking that we will sit beside a power outlet and work on our crafts all day? At my craft table I use a power strip, but I still have to work closer than I would like because of the short cord. This is one of six glue guns I have. It's not worth $120 to me. As a hobby crafts person who only does crafts for myself and a few close friends, I can't justify $20. 00 glue guns, but if I am going to buy glue guns again at $12. 00. I think it would make more sense to buy a larger piece if the price is $100. 00 or more a piece. This is what I have to say Please accept my best wishes.

However, I did not have a good experience with this product. Melted glue (Sure Bond brand) backed up into the open space at the top, destroying the product before I realized what had happened. It was not clogged since I could push a glue stick through even though I thought the nozzle was clogged. In the second unit, I did the same thing. However, I caught it early enough to get the glue stick far enough through to avoid clogging. There is some movement in this unit, but not much. It appears that the heater element is struggling to keep up with the flow of water. I haven't encountered this issue with any other large I do not recommend it at all.

I love that it is so light, but feels at the same time very durable and that it has an automatic shutoff feature. It's great not having to worry about my kids or the house any more! If you are doing a lot of small crafts or detailed work, you should definitely check this out.

For crafts, I like to use this glue gun the best. For the price, I find this glue gun to be a great choice. I like that the tip is more pointy than other glue When pushing the trigger, the stand may come in the way. Nonetheless, the stand is useful in keeping the rifle upright. In about a minute or 45 seconds, it starts to heat up. Only thing I would like is an on/off button instead of just the plug to switch it on or off.

Due to my arthritis, I was unable to use the trigger on my other one. This one has a very smooth trigger and makes it more comfortable to use. It was a pleasant surprise to find this Those fingers will never be in pain again!.

Those long triggers may have allowed easy use of glue sticks, but the pressure caused them It is my hope that no other person faces this problem. Then it broke! I loved it!.
