Economy Hot Melt Glue Sticks 7/16 x 10" - 7lbs

Since I’ve been using this company to purchase glue sticks for years, it has always been great on the price, and the quality was much better than anything like the expensive acrylic gluesticks I used to buy. While I wish I could say that about this last batch, I haven't been able to. The reason I ordered it was because I ran low on my previous one, so I just recently opened it up It was apparent that the gluesticks were not as clear as they had been and were slightly yellow in appearance. As well as being sticky, they were also kind of hard to handle. Finally, the biggest issue I encountered was that the cords string like crazy when I use them. I've noticed they're so strongly that I actually think the pieces are floating in the air like spiderwebs, no matter which temperature setting I use. The quality isn't going to be the same going forward, so I hope it's just a bad batch.

The quality of the text could be improved. Because they are glue sticks, I can put them in my glue gun, and they work well. It is because the glue sticks I received aren't white as they appear on the photo, they are a yellowish color, so they won't cool clear, and it is because I was charged $9 this time. An item that was advertised as free shipping came with a shipping charge of $90. Free shipping is too good to be true, and I hate being charged shipping. It has been a few days since I contacted the seller and Amazon of my unpaid A charge for $90 was returned to my Amazon card, meaning I am being charged interest for an incorrect transaction. Once again, they were good-quality glue sticks for a reasonable price, but the order was difficult to deliver.

I received them in a plastic bag and in It has been mentioned by other reviewers that there is an unpleasant odor, but I have not noticed it. In comparison, I think these glue sticks are better than the SureBonder glue sticks I was previously using. The cooler cools to a translucent white color, not clear, which I found to be more appealing than the other brand. I enjoy the longer length as I don't have to reload it frequently, and the price was definitely better than the other brand. I don't have anything negative to say about this With such a large quantity of glue sticks and such a long length of glue sticks, I will have no trouble lasting quite some time, but when they run out I will definitely purchase more.

I gave this product three stars because the ad indicates this is for hi temperature glue guns. That is incorrect since out of a hi temp glue gun this stuff comes out like soup, and I can mix and apply epoxy in the time it takes for this glue to cure, which will never happen. If the glue is really this weak, or if it has been destroyed by the heat, I cannot tell. It is probably the best glue to be used with either a dual or a low temperature glue gun.

As a Family Consumer Science teacher, I have bought millions of glue sticks, but it is my first time buying them in bulk online and not at a store for craft supplies. There may be a reason they are sticky and tacky on the outside, but they melt fine. So if that doesn't bother you, then it does not bother When I pick it up, I don't have to worry about it slipping out of my hand.
