I don't have any documentation for my GT300, but I'm guessing it's around 300 watts. Mine heats up quickly, in just a few seconds.

Take a look at this! This one is going to be a big hit. A genuine American brand/design that is both safe and does not make any false claims. br>br>The weapon is enormous, and it possesses the claimed power. Some reviews criticize it for making false power claims, citing "inrush current" (which the manufacturer may continue to use) as an example, which is not the correct terminology. br>br>Inrush current is a very brief current spike that occurs when power supplies are plugged in or motors are turned on. It's only a split second long. br>br>On the other hand, this device starts at 300W, which is extremely high and quickly melts glue, before gradually lowering the power over several seconds. It would overheat if it didn't do this, igniting the glue and causing it to burn out quickly. It must have an automatic thermal current regulator, most likely a PTC thermistor heating element. This is incredible - And it's not something I've ever seen, let alone expected, in Chinese no-name brands. br>br>As a result, I'm glad I purchased it. It'd be crazy to buy a Chinese unsafe junk brand, no matter how good the reviews, especially since this Areow unit was not more expensive than the Chinese "premium" units — with their phony power ratings and all. The Arrow is, in fact, a steal and a no-brainer purchase.
To remove glue overflow, it had to be taken apart. I'm not sure what happened, but it appears that after only 2 weeks of use, a part of the heating element stopped working after about 2 hours of use. Glue is stuck near the trigger and won't flow. Regrettably, I'll have to return to my old, cheap one, which lasted for four years. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I disassembled the gun and was able to clean the melted glue out of the slide mechanism before reassembling it. assemble. After an hour, everything appears to be in working order. Hopefully, the issue was a one-time occurrence. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> 7/16 glue sticks appear to be the source of the problem. My other smaller arrow, the 7/16, works fine, but you can feel and see the sloppiness when inserting the 7/16 into this gun, which is why I've had leakage. It's also difficult to feed a new stick, which is a shame because the gun gets hot quickly.
It's what I use to keep the motors in my small combat robot in place. I had always used Goop or something similar, but the set time was too long, so I had to use my mini glue gun in a hurry. I'd lose motors if the glue didn't hold for the duration of the event. With the Arrow all-in-one glue gun and the Arrow all-in-one glue gun, you can make your own glue I'm not going to use Goop anymore because I have all-purpose glue sticks. The glue gun heats up in 2 minutes or less, and it holds the metal motors in place on the UHMW plastic frame without fail, no matter how much my bot is slammed around and partially pulverized. Sure, it's a little stringy, but that's not a problem for me! I experimented with some high-end products. I bought some high-temperature glue from a different company to go with it, but it didn't stick to the motors at all. Because the samples that came with the gun were so good, I decided to buy more. Also, when sitting there, whether upright on the stand or resting on the side supports, it barely drips.
Extended tips were purchased in conjunction with this item to help reach tight spaces. The glue is heated to a temperature where it can easily pass through long tips with the help of the gun. If the power cable is twisted, it will not be perfectly stable on the stand. It is recommended that you purchase the longer glue sticks. You'll need two 4" sticks if you're using them. The first must be pushed through the gun by the second. You'll need more sticks to keep pushing glue forward once the end of the second gets to the back of the gun; tips were easy to swap. After each session, remove and clean long tips (once they have cooled). I didn't remove the long tip because the glue was still on it. It took a long time for the gun to heat up the long tip sufficiently to allow glue to flow.
She's had it for over 30 years and still has it. This is the genuine article, but caution must be exercised when using it. It's as hot as hell, and I've burned myself twice while attempting to make wreaths, resulting in severe blisters. Regardless, I'm 💯 pleased with this product. It heats in like two minutes. As quickly as your hand can pull the trigger, squirts nice globs of glue. It is simple to use the trigger. My hand doesn't get tired of doing what I'm doing. I really like this product and would purchase it again.
It's a monster, this thing. I had a small glue gun that I had purchased at a discount store; It took a long time for the glue to warm up, and once it did, it wasn't very sticky. As a result, I gave up hot gluing. This gun has caused me to reconsider my opinion of hot glue guns because it heats up quickly and the glue adheres well. I'd use it without hesitation for long-term household repairs.
Every day, I use a glue gun. When I set it down, it will not sit upright and will fall over. It is extremely difficult to press the button. I have a few glue guns, and this one gets hot, but it's not my favorite, so I switched to an old standby.
Glue is quickly deposited in large volumes. I was worried that the Arrow GT300 wouldn't be able to keep up with the amount of glue I was putting down. In use, the GT300 will deposit glue as fast as you can pull the trigger, compared to other brands rated at 500w that cost twice as much. It only takes a few minutes to reach operating temperature. The item was delivered in two days, free of charge, thanks to Amazon.
