AdTech's 0442 glue gun is one that works continually despite its lack of a switch for shutting it off. There is no off switch on the heater, so it runs continuously and glue leaks out. This is due to the reviews that say it drips or leaks because the heater is constantly running. As the heater is always on, the glue is much hotter than standard glue guns and WILL BURN YOU when you get it on your skin.
This is a great little glue gun but I wouldn't use it around children or absent-minded Totally satisfactory, except for the fact that the feet do not fold up all the way and can get in the way of the workpiece.
I'm talking about the kind that has high temperatures The data, at some point or another, overloads, gets stuck, or just doesn't These glue gun issues were never encountered with this one. My husband is very impressed and I am in love with it.
A fine-tipped glue gun would have been perfect, but the glue gun I used 23 years ago dripped so badly I put it away. There are no drips. Drips from the tip, but is fine otherwise.
Aside from using it once, I don't have any experience with it. I knew it would use mini size glue sticks, but I didn't expect it. Despite the fact that it is clearly stated. My first thought was, did it look like a I messed up. In any case. The mistake was a happy one. There was a problem with the old glue sticks, but I managed to get new mini ones which were easy and cheap. Having such a small glue gun makes it easier for me to work with than my larger.
The glue guns I ordered seem to be working fine over the past month. I am a teacher and order a lot of glue guns. Many cheap ones break after a few uses, so I order different brands each time. It is working well for all ten of them. I haven't done that in awhile. It would not be a problem for me to buy more of these in the future.
It may have been an inexpensive glue gun, but I still expected it to work (at least for more than two I was unable to maintain constant pressure while it was being used after the first time I plugged it in. Though I found that incredibly irritating, it did not come as a surprise considering how cheap the guns were. I tried using it for a few times, but it stopped working after a few uses. When I bought this item, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is.
The trigger is not well designed for control of this glue gun, which has a fine tip. A lot of glue comes out because it seems loose and you have to really squeeze it to get it to come out. This makes the detail tip somewhat useless due to how much glue comes out.
The only downside I can see, or anything I can say about them is that if you leave the glue gun on for too long, or use it for extended periods of time, it starts melting the plastic covering on the outside of the metal tip, which discolors However, this does not affect how the glue gun works. It is hard to find a better deal than this for $5 or $6.
