I bought a 50-stick glue pack and found that it was sufficient for my needs. They were purchased with the intention of being used in three different ways. D Moulds were used, and they performed admirably. Because the Moulds used a lot of glue, I had to keep inserting glue sticks into the glue gun as I worked. br>As you can see in the photo, the sticks aren't clear, and the finished product isn't either, but that wasn't an issue for me because I'll be painting them later. These aren't for you if you're looking for absolute clarity. br>I didn't glue anything together, but I did drip a glob of glue onto a glass plate, and it's still there! I'll have to warm it up and pry it off later. As a result, it appears that the adhesion is satisfactory. I would buy these in the larger size again.
They're small, but they're wide and made for regular glue guns, which was my mistake; however, I wish they were clearer that they're for regular glue guns because this is how mini glue gun sticks look.
I needed some new glue sticks for my new Genesis cordless glue gun, so I decided to try these made in the United States glue sticks. Surebonder sticks work great in my glue gun because they heat up quickly and produce a nice, even stream. It's not runny in the least, and it doesn't string. After applying the glue, I was able to work for about 30 seconds. When using these glue sticks, make sure the surfaces you're gluing together are rough, sanded, or porous.
I would never use generic brand glue sticks again after using these, and while I believe my skill with and application style with the glue gun influences the quantity of glue webs, I have had far fewer webs than with the other sticks. Because I make ribbon art pieces and hair clips, this is essential to a finished product with minimal crafting time; I rarely need to use the blow dryer to dissolve glue webs from the finished product because I use these sticks; I get a better finished product with less time investment. I would suggest making the following changes: These can be found in a 100-piece set. I'm also looking for a stick package, as I've only found the 50-pack. stick. Excellent glue sticks that have a long-lasting bond. I'm going to make another purchase.
Great value for money, and since I'm avoiding craft stores during Covid, Amazon is my go-to source. I've already used up the majority of these glue sticks in just a few days. I'm sure I'll be ordering more.
I bought these for high-tempo work, and they've worked out well so far. I'm working with door wreath materials, and while it hasn't been particularly hot, everything I've used high heat on has held up well. I also purchased the same brand of glue gun, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
Surebonder glue sticks are one of my favorite types of glue. I've been using them commercially for a long time and would strongly recommend them. After many years of use, I've discovered that they are the best for adhesion.
This glue is of high quality, with a quick set time and a strong hold. Surebonder products, including their glue, are impossible to go wrong with. omit the off-the-beaten-path Stick with Surebonder instead of expensive brands and gimmicky labels.
