It is true that the ends are rounded. In addition to being of good quality, these sticks are also very durable. The products I use at my waxing salon are fantastic. Seller is quick to deliver and the product is perfect.
Additionally, we used them to complete a kids' project. These did not cause any problems for me. I found no large splinters on them and the wood was clean. I bought paint stir sticks for the same project and they were much smaller than I expected.
The statement does not state that the food is Several of them explicitly state that the food is safe if it is.
There are 6" between the 1/4" wide and the 3/4" long side. As well as being smooth, they are consistent. Buying this was a good decision.

A new product has been added, but the price has remained As an esthetician, I deal with skin issues. Rather than craft sticks, I order tongue depressor quality sticks for my waxing services! As a result of this last order, I am extremely disappointed in the product that was delivered to me. It has been over a dozen times that I have ordered these sticks. There were a lot of differences with these sticks. Weak, thin, and brittle, they are incapable of standing up to the elements. Splintering is also common with them. The stronger sticks they use to send are so strong that I have to use two sticks at once to match their mixing. It is obvious the product has changed to a much thinner and cheaper type of wood, although the price has not changed. My bulk order of 5000 is very disappointing as I frequently buy in bulk.
In the order, there are NOT 5000 sticks. It seems as though I've received a large box with ten small boxes inside. The small boxes each contain approximately 430 sticks, which means I'm 700 sticks short of what I ordered. There is no difference in quality between the sticks, but the edges are rough. It is disappointing that I received so few pieces and that the 5000 pieces claim proved to be a 100% false claim.
It was last time I purchased these sticks from the same seller and they were fine. This time, all I received was 5 thousand completely useless and flimsy sticks. Sticks like those will not allow you to wax. The lack of waxing will not only result in money wasted, but I will also suffer a set back and lose money in my business. I find this extremely disappointing and upsetting. The stick is very poor quality. Will contact Amazon for a refund and seek a better one.
I tend to use a lot of craft sticks as a crafter with my own channel on You Tube. As a result, when I saw this large quantity of Jumbo Craft Sticks, I thought it would be a great deal (I am once I went to open the top box (which is made of two boxes and taped together), I quickly found quite a few warped and bent items. Since I was optimistic, I thought maybe there was a bad batch in that top My mistake was that I did not realize my mistake. The more I looked at them, the more damaged they were--many of them were severely warped, bowed, and bent. Some pieces I will be able to make use of by cutting them into smaller pieces, but I am disappointed in the fact that about one third of them are damaged. You get what you pay for, I guess. It is an acceptable thickness and rigid enough for me to use in my craft projects, which is the only positive aspect of the product.

As mentioned in the reviews, they didn't turn out well. A large portion of the sticks have little or no splinters, and the quality has changed over the years. As well, the amount says I should have 1K, but I don't have that much money. The problem is that I don't really know how to contact the company so I will definitely return them. I'm missing a good deal to actually return the items, which I will do.
The first shipment I received was perfect, but when I ordered again, I received a box with an open box inside another sealed box that contained a jumbled pile of poor quality sticks. (See The use of them for stirring paint will not make me return them, but recommend them against using them for crafting.
I snapped these sticks in half and they snapped perfectly for double usage. I have snapped all my sticks before, so these stick are amazing! The material is light and durable at the same time. Dip them into wax, they do not snap, and there are no splinters. Snapping is clean and they do not contain any splinters. The edges should not be too sharp.
