Mod Podge Waterbase Sealer, Glue and Finish for Outdoor (8-Ounce), CS11220 Clear Finish

As stated in the instructions, it dries quickly, and multiple coats need to be applied 15 minutes apart. We did this on wood, cardboard, and cover stock (in an effort to The instructions tell you to leave them for 48 hours before taking your "mod podged" item outside. We did exactly that, both mine and my husband tried on different items (I tried twice and failed on each, so I asked my husband to try after I failed on two). I have tried this product both on my husband's monitor and on mine and no matter what medium we used this product produced a seriously tacky result. However, it is waterproof, none the less. I'm not sure what to think about this stuff, so I won't say more about that. YES, it did waterproof our items, but I had made a witch hat for my carved pumpkin, but by the time I had set it on the pumpkin outside, it was effectively stuck to the pumpkin, so I couldn't remove it. The witch hat doesn't have any damages on it, so I can remove my fingers from it. There is no thicker thing in the world! Paint brushes get ruined from this product since it is nearly impossible to spread. Then it will dry funky. If you don't get it super thin (which is really difficult to achieve), it will dry weird. This is not something I would recommend.

The stuff you make is awesome! The material was used several years ago in order to decorate an outside rabbit hutch- Despite this, the picture still looks good. After you apply several coats, let them dry thoroughly between each coat, since you don't want them to get sticky. If they were exposed to rain for an extended period, they probably wouldn't hold up. to decorate the sides of a birdhouse, but not for an outdoor tabletop. some It's been years since I planted them, and they still look great. When I assumed they'd turn brown after a few days, I was wrong. (It is one of my favorite 6) Most recently, it was used to coat a book that I used as a laptop case. I also like the way it turned out!.

When trying to seal my daughter's rocks, I was looking for a nontoxic sealer, but this one created a sticky surface and maintained it. I believe you need an additional sealer over top of it if you wish to have a smooth surface and be able to place painted rocks outside. So, this product is a waste of money for this purpose and should not be advertised as such.

My kids painted rocks with this and I used it to seal them. Almost a month after the project was launched, it still looks tacky. Stands by everything he says. If a rock is laid down on a paper plate, the rock sticks to it and pulls the design off! There was no hope for them!.

Everything I wanted is in the product. The shipping was the cause of my problem. The order for 3 was placed. There was an issue which caused the cap to come off on one of the bottles and the seal had broken, which had led to leakage onto itself, the other two bottles, packaging and There was a loose lid and a broken seal on the second bottle. All three bottles were covered in glue on the third one, so I had to clean them off. There is no way of knowing if that sort of thick layer is normal or if the two compartments have started to dry out since the seals have broken and air has begun to dry them. Because I already have two bottles that are open, I didn't want to check if the third bottle would be as thick as the first two since I have to use those first and I didn't want that bottle to Since I have used Mod Podge for 40 years, there has never been a layer this thick, nor have I ever used the kind for outdoors. Simply because of that reason, it might be thicker. Despite the fact that the order was packed so securely, I'm surprised they did not check whether the lids were flat.

There is no end to the crafts and ideas you can work with mod podge. Recently, my son redid some goose decoys that are over twenty to thirty years old using Mod Podge. In the field or even on the water while hunting, he reprinted them and used this over top of it to help protect the paint. He did an amazing job in getting it done and getting it working perfectly. Despite the fact that he is a teen, I could not have done a better job than he did. My life will be filled with mod podge purchases, I'm sure of it. Never had a problem with a product made by them that didn't perform as well as I had expected. Most of the time, my expectations are exceeded. It is impossible for me to complain about anything in this company or product line as an artist and crafter. My students and I will have to buy more of them because we use them in all kinds of art projects. My obligations to various groups of people are quite varied and I still have a few others I want. This is a great product to recommend.

It took me about 15 minutes to apply one layer of glue. I kid you not, this stuff is still tacky two weeks later. It is impossible to touch anything other than a Styrofoam plate with the rocks. On a table in my home, they were left out for a while and the humidity levels were low. Mod podge is one of my favorite things, so I am surprised that this stuff doesn't I cannot even imagine how sticky they would have been if I tried a second coat after the first. The directions say to apply multiple coats 15 minutes apart.
