Questions & Answers

The ink is running on the porcelain mugs I'm trying to write on with this over sharpie designs. Thank you for your support! ?

In my experience, oil-based paint markers and other oil markers work very well. PAC Northwest is wrong. Acrylic pens spread like crazy regardless of how much mod podge is applied. Baked acrylic will fade in a ceramic cup. This is especially true if the acrylic is based on alcohol or acrylic. If you wish, you can paint the dish (or cup, or bowl, etc.) with oil paint, bake the dish, then apply a layer of The spray version may be more effective than the paint on sealer with acrylic, but I have not tried it. The sealant MIGHT keep the colors protected if you use acrylic markers and let them completely dry. If you use this method, spray the sealant gently on top to prevent the colors To achieve the desired result, I would do several applications of the spray, letting each coat dry for a day between applications. The Long and Short of It Associated with the painting of A Mod Podge surface and acrylic markers and alcohol markers don't get along. Make sure you bake your work and then seal it with paint on Mod Podge to get the

The 28-day trial period isn't for shows, but they don't make jokes about it It takes days for the cure to take effect
4/5

Using this material to cover or protect glass paint was a good idea. After painting the Mod Podge on with three coats, curing the product for 28 days, and then putting the items into the dishwasher, everything was cleaned. I did not succeed in creating a perfect image! There were areas where the MP was thin, but they turned out fine. Yes, I do have proof, but where did I put the thick paint? Because it appeared to have not been sufficiently cured, it reappeared The microbial cells turned white and milky once again after they absorbed the water. Photo 1 (See figure. 1) Lesson It is best to use this stuff on a thin layer, and be sure to allow extra time for it to dry. Just 28 days might not be enough. During the 28 days following their purchase, the glasses sat for 28 more days to dry A test glass was washed after they had been cured. Although there was milk in the thick areas AGAIN, the milk was not as bad as it was It was at this point I decided to put the glasses in the oven to see if they could be heated and cured. It is traditionally done at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (although there is a video showing the "Decoupage Queen" doing it at 175 degrees for an hour instead). The glasses are placed in the oven before the oven is turned on, and then left to cool completely before they are removed. The glasses are all clean after I put them in the dishwasher. I kept the Mod Podge dry and clear! 2) Lesson It is indeed possible to heat cure Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge stuff in certain situations. My task was to cover clear glassware with glass paint If I had coated something like paper with something like aluminum foil, I'm confident that the oven would have sparked. Besides letting the glasses dry before heat curing, I also let them dry after heat Perhaps you can create a test item that can be baked so that you don't risk your main item. I don't know if it will be effective for your project, but it will probably be the most sensible thing you can do.

It does the job nicely
5/5

Good product - did exactly what I wanted it to do (seal paintings on ceramic cups). For the first hour, bake the painted mugs at 175 degrees for an hour (leave the mugs in the oven until the oven has cooled completely). After applying a thin layer to the mugs, I heated them again in the oven. I ran mugs through the dishwasher several times and the paintings survived.

A great addition to Mod Podge was used to make a Halloween wine glass
5/5

It is easy to work with and dries quickly. We have only hand washed the glass, but it has held up in great condition.

Those who are on a streak
3/5

My favorite way to use mod podge is to use it with scrapbooking paper. There are many streaks in this, and I do not know what to do about them. It was supposed to be used for making coasters, but I am not allowed to do so. What about the streakiness? It's a bit brighter than the regular mod podge.

The product is good and the value is great
5/5

I got this jar from an online store for much cheaper than an online hobby store. It's small to medium sized and cheap. I think it was well covered. I like the glossy sheen it has when it dries. When the photo of the underside of the plate is taken, there is wet mod podge on it. On the other hand, the finished product is shown in the other photo.

There are no results from using the product Use at your own risk! I am sorry to inform you that this product did not work
3/5

Once the dishwashing dish was used, the coating hardened and peeled off. As a result, I am amazed at the high number of positive reviews. Did they receive any compensation? Because this product does not work as advertised, fails to seal product to be dishwasher safe, and does not work as advertised. I painted my pattern on the dishwasher and it destroyed it.
