I applied a base coat of mod podge to the letters, then sprinkled on the glitter, pressing my finger against the glitter to ensure it adhered, and then applied a top coat of mod podge to seal in the glitter after it dried. I simply used a medium paint brush that I had on hand for the project and it worked perfectly; my glitter is shiny with the glossy coat and does not fall off as a result! This is my first project with this product, and I'm excited to try it out on another one! Also, if you look closely to the right of the picture, you can see what it looks like before it dries, which is white; don't worry, it dries clear. Before it dried, I forgot to take a full picture! Last but not least, the drying time for my project was only about 30 minutes. It was completely dry after 45 minutes.
I spruced up my comic book short box tops with some style. Print comic book panels from Google and cut out the pieces you'll need. Prepare the cardboard top with mod podge once you've decided on a panel layout. Start putting the panels together, and don't worry about the ripples; they'll fade away. To seal the panels, quickly coat them with another layer of mod podge. After allowing the mod podge to dry for 24 hours, it leaves a nice gloss. Allow 20 minutes for the mod podge acrylic sealer to dry before using. To glam up those all-white cardboard short bins, it's a fun weekend project. Mod Podge is a must-have item for any crafter.
We've been doing acrylic pour paintings on canvas and needed something to seal them, so we bought it for the second time. We tried it out and were blown away! It's perfect, and you can see the camera's gleam in my photo. I tried to thin it out with a mixture of water and paint, but it ended up cracking and flaking. It was fine once I used the mod podge to seal it, and I really like it.
After completing jigsaw puzzles, I glue/seal them to use as wall art for myself or to give to others. I framed a few of them. When it comes to gluing and sealing puzzles, MOD PODGE is the best option. Whether the puzzles require more than one coat or not, I apply two to three coats to the front and back of the puzzles to ensure that the images last as long as possible. I use it in a variety of artistic contexts. I use a type of paintbrush that I use with latex paints and it works great without leaving paintbrush bits in the Mod Podge. Although it dries quickly, I decided to leave the puzzle on my table overnight. I usually put a backing paper under the puzzle (very carefully) to keep it from sticking to my table, but I've found that I don't need to remove it if I don't have it. A blue scrub sponge is used to remove any residue from the table.
I came across a video on youtube where a guy is doing some samples of potting with different pickups on a guitar and he uses varnish. wax. in addition to none. and you could tell the difference, and a guy says in the comments that he uses watered down MOD POSH, and the guy tells him. When time is of the essence. br>So I went online and found it on Amazon. As a result, I placed an order and gambled. Walla. However, I use it in its natural state. Besides, this stuff is already watered down. I used masking tape to cover the coils and it completely eliminated the unwanted feed back. I even told my guitar tech at Sam Ash about it, and he thought it was a great idea, because he usually uses regular waxing, and I told him to use a hair dryer to speed up the process if he wanted a faster job turn around. I assured him that it was safe and odorless. I'm content with my lot in life.
I was hesitant at first because it is white, like glue, and I didn't want to ruin my painting, so I applied a small amount and let it dry; it turned out nicely, so I coated the entire piece, and the color has returned, and it now looks shiny and new again - - This is the best decision I've ever made.
This item was delivered two days ahead of schedule, which was fantastic. It spreads easily and dries quickly, and I couldn't find it anywhere but Amazon for a reasonable price, so I bought two. My sisters and I used this mod podge on top of our homemade coasters because it's so simple to use.
This wonderful mosaic was given to me. Last year, after Thanksgiving, I bought a ish glass pumpkin on clearance, which I couldn't return. When it arrived, it was crumbling into tiny glass shards, but it was so beautiful that I couldn't bear to throw it away. The Mod Podge did an excellent job of sealing it. It isn't dimmed, and it isn't a dangerous crumbly hazard. Fall decor is safe. Mod Podge takes the cake.
