THE EXPERIENCE WAS DISAPPOINTED. Elmer's School Glue is one of my favorite products. THERE'S A BOTTLE OF IT IN THE ROOM. I bought these with the expectation that they would be simple to use and just as good as the bottle glue. WRONG. While they are small and simple to use, particularly for small hands, the CONTRARY and PROBLEM is that the glue appears to disintegrate quickly. So whatever projects we've been working on have looked fantastic for the first few days. The items gradually begin to lift and eventually fall away from whatever they were glued to. So much for our fantastic art projects and Teacher Appreciation Posters (a HUGE MISTAKE). I LOVE that there are no "drops" of glue like there are with the liquid, but if the GLUE STICKS DON'T WORK, I MUCH PREFER THE LIQUID. Elmer's: Make these things better by conducting additional research. You've put too much effort into your reputation to risk it by making a poor choice. than- This is a fantastic product.
These glue sticks were purchased for VBS, but they did not perform as expected. I was using glue sticks to adhere items to paper bags, but they kept falling off. Elmers, on the other hand, has a reputation for being a bad guy. I taught for 37 years and was a big fan of Elmer's products, but they seem to have gone the way of a lot of businesses these days. Cheaper items for a higher price. Very let down. Especially since the decorations from the children's bags were strewn about the church.
It's the only one I'm using at the moment. I like that it starts out purple because it allows me to see if I've covered all of the areas I need to, but it dries clear. It also has excellent adhesion. I included three photos to demonstrate the various items I use Elmer's Purple glue to adhere to my cards. In the first photo, Tim Holtz Die Cuts can be seen. These have arms and legs that are covered in glue to ensure that they all stay in place. The second image depicts regular paper that has been glued on. The third image shows glossy paper being adhered first, followed by see-through paper. by way of fluttering butterflies They are transparent, so you can't see the glue. Elmer's glue is also cheap, and you don't need much of it. I may keep the cards for a year or two after I finish them before mailing them. Nothing I've glued in place with Elmer's Purple Disappearing glue has ever come loose. It has persuaded me! I'm just not going to look for anything else to use now!.
I'm not sure what these are called if the simple paper cutouts can't stay glued after a few minutes. 'Sticks' is not one of them. br>And they're completely useless. Elmer has left me very disappointed. They were supposed to be better. br>I have the majority of a box left over that I don't trust, so I tried a few sticks in the hopes of finding a bad one. Nope. br>I've been using glue sticks with the kids for years and purchased this pack because they tend to dry out quickly and I wanted to keep some unopened ones on hand. Instead, I've got some that are 'unsticky. '.
It was purchased for the purpose of pasting my wedding scripts into a book. I was in the middle of a ceremony when a page blew out of the book after the first time I used it. The adhesive is of poor quality. Although the best man chasing the paper into the vineyard added comic relief to the ceremony, I can't recommend it for anything other than kindergarten art projects.
Glue Sticks aren't what they used to be! Glue bottles that are a shambles? Crusty dried-up crustiness with welded-on caps? Kids who smear glue on their hands and act as if they're shedding their skin? Glue Sticks now allow you to achieve anything you've ever wanted. With the patented Space-Saving Technology Age Technology was written by NASA and Space-X scientists. This one-of-a-kind product was created by X, which means no more messes! It's just a glue stick. It's not going anywhere. The fact that it does not adhere to the inside of the stick is particularly impressive. It's the glue stick stick with no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no, Now is the time to order.
I had heard that people were using this purple glue on their print beds to help the filament stick down, so I decided to give it a try as a newbie to 3d printing. It's great, and I like that I can tell when it's dry by the color. On an Anet A8 3d printer, I'm printing on a glass surface. I simply rub a bunch of this around the build plate before printing, wait until the purple turns clear, and then I'm ready to go. br>br>In the kitchen sink, cleaning is a breeze - The glue turns purple again as soon as it comes into contact with water, making it very easy to tell when it's clean. br>br>This thirty-pack was a fantastic deal. Only two things kept me from giving it five stars: (1) Make sure you don't leave any gaps when applying it. This isn't difficult, but it does necessitate additional effort; and (2) today I experimented with Aqua- instead of hairspray, use net hairspray - It was a lot easier to apply and cover the entire surface with this method. The purple glue dries faster than the Aqua-Bond glue. however, the internet.
It was a fantastic deal on the glue set. I checked out of Amazon after adding the glue and a floppy sun hat to my cart. I received a large box at my door that had been opened because the tape had not completely sealed the box. I went to put the glue sticks back in their small glue box because they were all over the place, but one was missing. Because the sunhat I bought was almost weightless, I'm guessing the box of glue sticks bounced around inside the packing box and a stick fell out because the tape wasn't all the way down on the box? I'm not going back for a single glue stick, but Amazon needs to consider what boxes to use when shipping orders.
