I bought it to give it a try as a scrapbooking medium. booking. What could possibly be better than a "Scrapbook Glue" set, I reasoned? This glue, on the other hand, was not my cup of tea. The best glue for photos and card stock out of all the glues I tried is by far: This product was far too wet and messy in comparison to the other, so I would recommend getting the other one and refills for it. I've only recently started scrapbooking, so that would be my recommendation for a beginner.
They aren't sticky enough! br>br>1) They aren't sticky enough! Almost everything I've glued, including scrapbook pages, needs to be reglued. br>br>2) don't try to glue textures that aren't similar (even if they are). The glues do not adhere well because they do not fill or have the strength required - Also, anything with a higher-than-average price tag isn't worth it. 3) the large end of the large liquid glue is unwieldy and gloppy - texture profile;br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b If you need a thicker coating on a specific area, you'll have limited control. br>br>To put it another way, I'm returning to my Scotch-drinking ways. Authentic merchandise! I'll also do it if I can find something more generic that's comparable to Scotch products. But not this nonsense - br>br> ever - again!.
When I opened the package, the glue pen was completely dry and unusable, which was a real bummer because it was one of the items I was most looking forward to using. The other glue sticks are still usable and haven't dried out, but I wouldn't have bought this if I had known the pen would be useless. I was extremely disappointed.
This is fine if you're just gluing paper to paper and don't mind wrinkles, but it wouldn't hold googly eyes or anything else. I didn't find this to be true, despite the packaging's claims of "wrinkle free, blah blah blah. " br>I discovered that when the glue dried, it became very shiny, and the tip was not precise enough to prevent visible shiny residue on the die cuts I was assembling.
I bought this set to use with die-cut card stock in my crafts: The glue pen didn't work, and the bottom cap wouldn't advance the glue stick, so it was chosen by the editor. br>1) The glue pen didn't work, and the bottom cap wouldn't advance the glue stick. br>2) The glue stick adhesive did not stick to colored card stock after a few minutes, and it came unglued. br>3) The liquid craft bond was a mess to work with with thin die cuts, and it did not dry clear. br>I returned to the store and ordered smaller Avery glue sticks, which worked perfectly.
Glue sticks are frequently required by my children for schoolwork or art projects. This set appeals to me because it includes a variety of glue sticks of various sizes that can be used in art projects. The thin glue pen, which is ideal for small items, is one of our favorites. There are enough sizes available to complete any project. We haven't had any problems with things falling off or not sticking because of the glue. For a wide range of applications, I highly recommend it.
As a gift, we were putting together a wedding scrapbook. We needed to fill 50 pages and mount 188 photos! I had a feeling I'd run out of tape and glue sooner or later. So I bought it based on the reviews and the price, and it arrived on time and was extremely useful for such a large project! Different types of papers required different types of glue. I felt like I had all of the glues I needed to finish the job, and I didn't have to deal with any of that annoying sticky mounting tape. After making this scrapbook, I had some glue left over. When I run out, I'll place another order. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
This was my first time using the Craft Bond Clear Duo Tip product, and I found the dispenser to be simple to operate in terms of controlling the amount of glue released. It's a transparent liquid glue that dries quickly and doesn't stain. The remaining three tubes contained Craft Bond glue paste in various sizes for various applications. The items received were identical to those shown in the listing; I'd purchase it again.
