Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with dollhouses made from scratch?

Yes, but it can be stringy, and there's a tip on the bottle for how to avoid this.br>I've made about 30 DIY dollhouses and use three different types of glue: Have fun with this glue, fabric glue, and crazy glue.br>

Is anyone familiar with the 3-step method? 1 on a styrofoam plate?

Beacon Adhesives, the manufacturer, does not recommend the use of 3-in-1 adhesives. 1 Advanced Craft Glue on Styrofoam (avoid using the solvent because it may erode the foam). Either FOAM-based or FOAM-based products are recommended. TAC (One of my personal favorites for a variety of uses other than RC planes.) ) or HOLD THE FOAM, which is designed specifically for a strong, long-lasting bond with Styrofoam. Because HOLD THE FOAM does not contain a solvent, it is suitable for all types of children's projects. Wishing you the best of luck with all of your foam projects.

Is this product prone to wrinkling paper?

No, this product is acid-free and does not contain water, so it will not cause paper to wrinkle. Paper will wrinkle if you use a water-based glue. Mike the Glueologist, I hope this helps.

Is this suitable for model planes made of balsa wood?

Yes, you can use it on balsa wood. You can reposition yourself if you make a quick grab.

Definitely fantastic! Arrived on time
5/5

For first-time users: It has a thicker consistency than regular school glue. It has a lot of stickiness to it. If not applied too thickly, it dries clear. Use a toothpick to dab a tiny amount of glue at a time if you're gluing something small and delicate, and have wipes and paper towels on hand. If you have small children, proceed with caution. It has the same stringy effect as hot glue. I was a first-time user and didn't know what to expect, so I thought I'd share my experience with you. It's a fantastic piece of work. I'll buy more for future projects without a doubt.

Made in the United States, it has a great hold and is easy to work with
5/5

Although this glue can be stringy after application (as with a hot glue gun), it is extremely effective. It doesn't have the same instant grip as super glue, but it gives you enough time to move an object or slide a piece of whatever you've glued before it dries. It has a good hold when it dries. It's not going anywhere, whatever you've glued. Also, before and after drying, the glue is completely transparent. Overall, it's a good craft glue, and I used it to create the miniature scene you see here. The applicator tip allows for precise control of the amount of glue applied, making it ideal for even small crafts like this. br>The best part is that it's made in the United States of America - China is definitely not one of them. There's no way to go wrong with that!.

It's ideal for a miniature project
4/5

My miniature projects require the use of this glue. This technique works well with both wood and paper. It takes more time for fabric and cords to adhere. When it stuck to my skin, it didn't hurt too much and was easy to remove. There is no overpowering odor.
Edit: After using half of the bottle, I can see that this product has a flaw. When I squeezed the glue out of the bottle to use it, it continued to flow nonstop out of the tip even after I stopped squeezing. This happens all of the time, regardless of how I use the glue or whether I squeeze or do not squeeze the bottle. This squandered a lot of glue and made it very messy to use, not to mention slowed down my work flow. They need to think of a new bottle design. I've downgraded it from a five to a four star rating.

It's like hot glue in a bottle! Where has this stuff been all my crafting life? It works just like hot glue (fast adhesion - no messy cleanup)
5/5

Only a few seconds are required to hold it in place), but without the hassle of plugging it in and risking burning yourself. It's quite runny, but a little goes a long way, and it dries clear, so it's suitable for use on both paper and wood. I've been using it to put together a miniature and it works great. br>The only drawback is that, like hot glue, it leaves long threads behind, but they're easy to snap off once dry.

I bought this on Dave Frary's recommendation to glue EPS and EPX foam to foam, and it works just like hot melt glue but with a longer working time
5/5

It does, according to the manufacturer. Eat styrofoam, as mentioned in other reviews. It is, however, completely under your control. I find that using it as contact cement works best for me. Apply to both surfaces, rub together, separate, wait for the solvent to flash, and then adhere the parts together. Any dissolution of the foam in that situation is not only un-acceptably dangerous, but also ineffective. It is noticeable, but it is probably desirable because it contributes to the glue-like properties of the glue. bond. Any foam melting will be prevented if your glue joints are exposed and the foam pieces are covered by anything at all, such as plaster cloth, ground foam, or even paint. br>br>Think of it as hot melt glue, but without the thickness and body of hot glue to obstruct close-fitting joints, and with only 1-2% of the thickness and body of hot glue. Instead of the "hurry and slap it together" thing that hot glue can sometimes become, give yourself 2 minutes to work and an hour to dry.

Fabric Glue that Actually Sticks! 1 - I read the reviews (which one should ALWAYS do first), I didn't cut the tip's top
5/5

This adhesive is amazing! It helped me reattach a fabric handle to a duffle bag made of fabric. I let it dry overnight after it stuck in a matter of seconds. I'm not afraid to use it because it's a strong adhesive. Thank you so much for a fantastic product! ;.

Miniatures will love it
4/5

It worked *perfectly* for my recent miniature project, but I docked a star because the tip bubbles up and loses product, which I haven't been able to fix. When the bottle is less than halfway full, shaking the product to the tip becomes a little tedious. (Wouldn't it be cool if it could be turned inside out? ) Nothing to get too worked up about; just thought it was worth mentioning. br>br>But, overall, it's fantastic for paper, wood, and other porous materials. It's forgiving at first, but then hardens. I'm on my second bottle because the first was so good. (Yes, there is a little stringiness, but it's manageable. ) It's not difficult to get this on your hands because it pills and peels off easily.

But it's fantastic glue
4/5

It's a great glue, but it stinks awful. It reminds me of the glue used to make model airplanes. It sticks incredibly well. I'm using it to adhere fabric ribbon to paper that will be subjected to tension in the future, and it's fantastic. However, I use it and then walk away for a few minutes to allow the odor to dissipate. br>I prefer their zip dry glue over this, but it does dry very quickly, as its name suggests.
