Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this glue to adhere items to glitter paper?

Yes, but keep in mind that it's a thick glue that's similar to E6000 in consistency. It's great for model building, but it's not something I'd use for paper crafts. Have you thought about using Aleene's Tacky glue? That should work well with glitter paper and result in a thinner, smoother finish, though it will take longer to dry.

The tip of this glue is obstructed. It had to be cut in the end. Is this something that happens frequently? Is there anyone else having this issue?

It's also a good idea to clean out the nozzle with a needle first, then wipe the tip down before closing the top.

Is it possible to use this technique on a purse handle made of plastic?

I believe so, but it depends on which part of the handle you're talking about. The glue adheres to almost anything and dries slowly enough that you can hold the pieces in place for a while until it dries.

The best glue for miniature dollhouse kits made at home
5/5

I tried seven different kinds of glue, including tacky glue, white glue, and gorilla glue, but only this one worked. It dries quickly and completely clear, and it can be used on a variety of surfaces. Miniature DIY dollhouses made of wood, fabric, paper, metal, and plastic.

It can become sticky after a while, but I simply add a little acetone to loosen it up and make it flow again
5/5

I've got a backup. I swear by this glue and use it on everything from paper to cardstock to fabric to glass beads. It dries quickly but still gives you enough time to move pieces into place if necessary. It can become sticky after a while, but I simply add a little acetone to loosen it up and make it flow again. I've replaced all other glues I've used in the past, including glue guns, and I keep a bottle on hand at all times.

The glue is good, but the tip on the 8 oz bottle is terrible
4/5

The glue itself is excellent, but the 8-ounce bottle could use some improvement. I bought a 4 ounce bottle from a craft store and an 8 ounce bottle from Amazon, as shown in the picture. The screw cap on the 4-ounce bottle has a narrow tio. It's simple to put it where you want it. The tip on this 8-ounce bottle is extremely bad. To get to the hole, I had to cut it down so far that the cap barely fits on it, and the hole is almost 1/4 inch (4 cm) in diameter. As a result, the glue can be removed more quickly and with less precision. The 8 ounce bottle should be based on the 4 ounce craft store bottle.

Glue that works! Perfect for any occasion! I've been using Beacon 3 in 1 for about ten years and am very happy with it
5/5

I've tried other glues before and have always been disappointed. There are no parallels to be made. I'm a crafter, and I've used this to make cards, paper crafts, and even glue wood, ribbon, glass, and other materials together. It has a quick tack, but it also allows for a few seconds of wiggle room if necessary. It doesn't leave any bumps or ridges under your papers, which is a significant benefit. Nothing I've glued together with Beacon 3 in 1 has ever come apart. Beacon Fabri Tac is a favorite of mine as well. Beacon products come highly recommended by me. I've never found another adverb that works as well as this one in all my years of looking.

Excellent adhesive for all of my miniature dollhouse accessories! Beacon 3 in 1 glue is something I use frequently
5/5

It's a great glue for putting together miniature dollhouses. It works well on fabric, painted wood, paper, plastic, and metal beads (though some surface roughening is required). It dries quickly and has a long shelf life. For ease of use in miniature applications, I usually transfer the glue to 1oz white glue (orange twist top closure) containers. It has a faint odor that dissipates once it has dried. Fabric-based beacons have also been used by me. Tac glue is good, but for my miniature furniture making, 3 in 1 glue works just as well. I've tried a lot of different glues and this one is my 'go to' because it works on so many different dollhouse surfaces. A word of advice: The use of a small amount of 3 in 1 on frayed fabric edges prevents them from unraveling. My most recent order was lost in transit due to storm delays (Covid). Despite the fact that it was not the fault of the supplier, I contacted them, and they promptly resent my order and corrected the problem. This company has exceeded my expectations!.

I missed my return deadline by one day because the leak occurred while the package was still sealed shut
3/5

When I went to use the glue today, I noticed a glob of dried glue on the top of the bottle near the screw top. When I opened it, the foil inside the lid was still intact, but it had leaked out. It didn't stick my items together after I opened it for use, and it even stripped one of them of its paint. It wasn't even close to sticking! I sat there for what seemed like an eternity, nothing but gooey sticky stuff on my fingers as I held the items together. I received a faulty bottle, and to make matters worse, I checked to see if I could return it, only to discover that yesterday was the last day to do so on Amazon! I was given a $13 that was completely useless. 00 for a sticky gel bottle!.

The cap on the larger bottle size is disgusting! This larger size's cap is barely there for some reason
3/5

The smaller size's red cap is well-made. My cap cracked the first time I put it on, and my glue is now starting to seize up. In general, I enjoy the glue - Excellent adhesion, a little stringy, but an excellent craft glue. I'm just disappointed that this larger bottle will soon be rendered useless due to the manufacturer's shoddy lid choice. (Purchase a bottle in the smaller size. ) It's well worth the extra cost.

Students of architecture should read this book
5/5

I'm currently enrolled as an architecture student, which requires me to produce a large number of models of varying complexity at a rapid rate. I'd previously used regular craft glue, which can be purchased almost anywhere, and it worked fine but not nearly as well as this. br>This glue dries QUICKLY and is extremely strong right out of the box. Furthermore, you can get away with being a little more sloppy because, unlike other glues, it doesn't show up once it's dried. br>It also doesn't take a long time for the liquid to flow down the tube once you've run out. When you're on a tight deadline, every second counts. br>I doubt you'll be disappointed.
