Selected User Reviews For Aleene's Jewel-It Embellishing Glue, Clear
The fabric was destroyed and wasn't able to stick to it It is not my custom to do reviews, but I am very upset right now. Making face masks requires a great deal of supplies, so I'm using them carefully. Once I had run out of washable glue, I gave up on gluing the ties closed. Having heard good things about this product, I decided to give it a go What it says this is is horrible, and I'm not sure how it can be accurate. wonder if I received the wrong product since it is very liquid and is hard to control. It also would not stick to the fabric, although the fabric was cotton, so there shouldn't have been any problems. ruined a lot of trim and yes, I should have tested it first, but glue is fairly permanent, and one has to deal with it for now. I liked the comments as well. I don't know what else to say. There is no adhesion at all, and it is watery. Sorry to have disappointed you.
It worked so well to make bedazzled crocs for my girlfriend with this adhesive! The adhesive I use now is my favorite.
Jewel is my first time using it, so i'd like to learn more about it I am very pleased with the product and with myself as well! In order to replace some missing rhinestones on my daughter's competition leotard, I needed to quickly make them, but I've never done this before, so I was a little nervous about trying it on such an I was pleasantly surprised that it worked so well! Using the embellishing glue, I put a small amount in the place for the rhinestone, set the stone, and let the adhesive do its work. We are thrilled with the results and can't tell which rhinestones were replaced! The rhinestones are extremely secure and we cannot tell which rhinestones were replaced! I did not have to wait long for the glue to dry. Thank you for this product! I am very happy with it!.
However, I improvised by using a little glue on my finger before dipping them in the glue. There is no doubt that this glue is worth the recommended price.
In my search for DIY glue, I found embellishing glue. I find it to be useful. There is no disappointment for me. In my work with crystals, I have been dealing with crystals whose backs have a flat, slippery plastic I was pleased with the results of the glue each time. The only time I see that is when I use lots of glue. A crystal would not stick if that were not the case. The cotton materials and rubber materials I have worked with are cotton and When you need it for a small project, it will work for you and your pocket, but if you are a professional, or if you are doing it for your business or hobby, you will need a lot of glue and a lot of dollars. As a material, glue is not bad at all.
There is a delay between the glue drying and the buttons sticking to the fabric so don't worry if they don't appear to be sticking right away! A clear film forms after drying. it's one of the best products out there!.
After taking a second look at a beautiful pink top with rows of pearls, I was about to throw it out because some of the pearls had fallen off in the wash You can wear this every day. When the pearls fell, I was lucky to catch them on the floor (I noticed them when they fell). To be honest, I did not put too much trust in any glue on fabric, including Aleene's. Although I took a chance due to the price, I still considered it a good deal. I was surprised to discover how readily these pearls adhered to my sweater with just a few drops of this glue. It takes two wash cycles for them to come off. When I received my top, I was amazed that it is just as beautiful as when I first received It is indeed my recommendation that this product be used.
There's this white gooey mess that has no hold on fabric. FAIL! I had no idea what I was doing after following instructions to the letter and glued a patch to a backpack. I suggest looking into silicone, as that is what has worked for me in the past.
