Tacky Glue is a little thicker and the tip is larger, but it still works with paper if you spread it out. I prefer Scotch Strong Precise Glue because it is a little thinner and has a smaller tip, but I ordered this because I couldn't find Scotch at a reasonable price. It can warp or wrinkle some of the thinner papers if you just squirt it out to stick them together. Cardstock is a good choice. It's doable if you're careful with the amount you use. I hope this has been of assistance.

This is a fantastic all-purpose glue, especially if you don't have any wood glue on hand for artwork or crafts. It must be better than e-mail at holding wood pieces together. In my opinion, the best adhesive is 6000 or gorilla glue. Because of the expanding and curing process of those glues, I assume they work better with other mediums. As a crafter, I've tried every brand and this is the best bang for your buck for a good solid hold. I also like the pouring nozzle because it is simple to use. Best $1. It's the first time I've spent fifty dollars in a long time.
According to the label on the bottle, "This is America," they say. As a kid, we used this glue in art class and made crafts with it, so when I saw this listing for Aleen's tacky glue and it was on sale, I decided to channel my inner artist and buy it. The bottle is exactly as I recall it being, with a design that allows you to cut the nozzle cap open to drizzle glue or open it to dip a paintbrush in or apply directly to paper. The lid was a little difficult to unscrew, but once open, the thickness of the glue did not disappoint, putting it ahead of Elmer's in my opinion because you don't need as much to get the job done and you get more for your money without having to carry around a large bottle. The slim design makes it easy to store, and aside from a few bits of crusty glue that can make it difficult to open at times, this glue is the best for the money, adding to the nostalgic feelings. It's a glue I'll definitely recommend, look for, and purchase again in the future, and one I expect to last a long time.
They are used by my middle school students, and this type of container makes it a lot easier to use. They are not required to wait as long for the glue to reach the tip. It's common for the cap where the tip goes to become clogged, but a damp pipe cleaner will easily clear it out. To refill them, I purchased a gallon of water.
Adhesion is superb! There are no issues at all.
Several people advised me to use this product, and it has proven to be effective in the past. Even after a week, the glue had not dried in this case. I was concerned that my daughter had used too much glue, so I applied it thinly myself. It didn't dry this time, either. Putting a dot on wax paper is all that is required. It's still damp and clingy. I'm guessing I got a tampered-with product or one that was damaged by heat or cold (?). ) but we've passed the return deadline and I'm stuck with sticky glue that won't dry. Boo Hiss. br>I liked the design of the container, but it's useless when the glue isn't usable.
For a long time, I resisted purchasing this because I didn't believe it was truly superior to regular glue. I was completely mistaken. This is a huge improvement. It sticks quickly, and because it's thicker, the glue doesn't "spread" as much, it's less messy. You don't have as much time as you would with regular glue to position your items, but you don't have to hold them in place either. If you leave it out for more than 10 minutes, it becomes too tacky (I squirt some on a surface and then pick up the small amounts of glue I need for quilling), but at the price, it's not a problem. I would strongly suggest it.
This is the most effective craft glue on the market. Especially useful for felt projects and pom poms. For those projects, regular glue will not hold. The only drawback is that there is a tip at the end that requires a lot of effort to remove. My 7-year-old granddaughter found it a bit difficult. She was able to do it, though it was a little difficult; it was preferable to squeezing and having a bunch come out. It is, in fact, tacky glue.
" These "lids" prevent the Tacky Glue I've always loved from drying out or falling to the other end of the bottle, making it difficult to squeeze out. When you put the bottle down to work on your project, it automatically goes back into the lid, ready to be used again. Tacky glue adheres quickly but can be moved around until you're happy with the placement of whatever you're gluing. When I use this glue on my grandchildren's projects, they feel so much more confident!.
