Because you're using it to be remelted in the kiln, I've never worried about a piece of glass needing to be super flat; it all depends on the manufacturer's tables. They were flat enough that I could work with the glass on them. You should contact the manufacturer; I found them to be extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with. COE 96 glass is produced by Spectrum and Uroborus.
Oceanside Glass and Tile, the current owners of the System 96 trademark, is responsible for all "System 96" glass. Other companies can make COE 96 glass, but they can't call it "System 96." Sunshine Glassworks provided Oceanside's Icicle Clear, 3mm thick pieces measuring approximately 8x8 inches square. This glass is almost as smooth as window glass, making it a joy to work with. br>== Sunshine Glassworks Ltd, Buffalo, NY 14227, Scott

Are you a razor sharp individual? I had assumed that the edges would be buffed to a smooth finish. I cut myself pretty good just removing one of the pieces from the package. The edges are extremely sharp and pointy, and the sides are sharper than some of my kitchen knives. They weren't in the condition I expected them to be in when they arrived. Handle with care.
There isn't any damage here! My young lady- Thank you so much! It will be used to make candle cups, lanterns, and other things.
Each one was a little different in terms of size. In general, it's a great deal. Glass fusing projects will make use of these.
It is very easy to cut.
It really works.
One of these came in handy when I broke something. It's perfect, and I adore the texture! Because I'm also an artist, I've got three more plates to play with.
This is an excellent tool for learning how to cut glass.
There is no texture in the clear.
