I'm not sure where or if larger tips for this iron are available. I recently purchased it for use in my stained glass work, and I absolutely adore it! It is effective when used with the included tip.

After my cheap stained glass broke, I decided to splurge and get this. The ability to control the temperature is fantastic. Now I have nice flowing lines in my solder.
This was purchased for use in my stainglass projects. I only used it for two days before the tip broke off and a hole appeared. When I showed my friend what had happened, she said she'd never seen anything like it in all her years of stainglassing, and she'd never seen anything like it before. I'm not sure what happened because it has a temperature controller. Because the return window has passed, I no longer trust this device and will be discarding it.
Items were packed with care and shipped quickly to Alaska. I put the iron and the rheostat to the test, and they both worked perfectly. I'm going to buy more. Many thanks to the vendor.
The temp adjuster also allows me to do decorative soldering! Excellent product, and I'll buy another if/when I need one!.

It keeps the temperature steady, is light, and does exactly what it says.
I like that I can adjust the volume and direct my solder where I want it to go, and it's not as difficult to operate as some digital equipment.
