This is the best foil tape for stained glass, according to me. There is a lot of substance in it and it is hard to remove. haven't noticed any pull off, nor have I noticed any noticeable effect from over fluxing it. It is pretty strong, and it is rare for it to The silver backed tapes I have seen are incredibly sticky in comparison. I wish I could find them Look at 3M to see if it has any. As long as this tape is available, I will always purchase it. There is probably no end to this!.
As an artist, I do a great deal of stained glass work, and I find that black-backed copper foil works I had looked in several stores without finding the right item, until I came across one on Amazon. My picture has been finished and is now ready for hanging.
I think this is the best to date. How do you do it so well? It's stiff enough to ensure that it's applied properly. Perfectly sticks to the wall. With the fid, you can smooth things out in no time.
My project (Stained glass) required the use of copper foil and I was thrilled to use it. When I used it as soon as it arrived, it did not stick to anything. You save money when people save it for you! There is no reason to purchase this foil it is outrageously expensive. Look no further than EDCO if you are looking for a good brand at a reasonable price.
My glass was exceptionally clean and I used isopropyl alcohol on the glass, but the foil was extremely tarnished and was having a hard time adhering to it. This must be an old item or one that has been mishandled!.
Although it did have some minor fraying, it didn't cause too much disruption.
I really like the copper foil with the black backed. While soldering the black back, I've never had an issue with bleeding out of the black.
Using this product in stained glass projects was my main reason for purchasing it. Copper is nice to look at, but the adhesive is a disaster. With this glue, I have been able to stick the glass pieces to each other. They cannot be merged, making it impossible to do so.
