If you're using it for soap, you might also be able to use it for breast milk. It is all possible to find a recipe that would be helpful if you check pinterest.
A soap base would be vegan, but you would need to seek out the manufacturer for confirmation.
As far as I'm concerned, I have not experienced any issues.
There is a creme color to it, almost like oatmeal. Sort of an almond colour.

The process of making soap is nothing new to me. Having made my own cold process soap as well as using melt n pour bases like this for some time, the oatmeal soap base from Saint Terra is a great choice. There are two very well known soap making suppliers from whom I get the expensive stuff and I find that this matches or exceeds the oatmeal bases they offer. As a result, the fragrances and mica colors take well to it, it melts well and moulds smoothly, it cures quickly, and its quality is delightful. Just in case you were wondering, I use both pure essential oils and fragrance oils. My skin feels softer after showering with this product since it produces a creamy lather, my skin isn't irritated, and it isn't drying to the touch. I would recommend this soap recipe to beginners as well as experienced soap makers.
It is my first time making soap, so I am unable to give it a great or a terrible rating. As I was pouring the soap into the mold, I noticed that the soap base was difficult to melt and really hardened fast. I was left with most of the soap left over in the bowl at this point. My soap had to be reheated in a bowl so I could pour it over the soap that had been poured. Since the base hardened so rapidly, my soap gave way at the partitions where I poured the second time. However, this base does not have the strong alcohol odor of another brand I've used before (which meant I didn't have to use an entire bottle of fragrance oil).
Unfortunately, I can't get past the scent of this product. It is easy to work with, but it doesn't smell good. My first impression when I opened it was of strong alcohol smell. Initially, I hoped that would melt off as the ice melted, but it didn't. My ability to smell it is just as strong as over the oils I used to scent it. No matter how much oil I added, it did not help. There are still two and a half blocks of it left, and I really do not think I will use it since the smell is bad. There was also a large slice through the package, but I assumed that happened when it was unpacked by the company. The store I bought it from was not one I would go to, but I did not intend to exchange it, so I didn't bother.
Since I have no experience in soap making, I was able to make cute soaps with it (I recommend silicone molds, as I used them and they worked great).
I was not familiar with how to use this, so I found it very simple. Add some color and essential oils to make this product stand out Instead of being a heart, the mold looks like a heart. As my mother loves lavender, the lavender finish product was a nice surprise for her.
In addition, That's why I think this soap is good. There is a reason I docked a star here. I thought using an oatmeal soap would seem to have more of a grainy texture when used. I have combined this terra oatmeal soap with a clear glycerin soap to form the soap shown here.
We are happy with the quality and the packaging of this melt and pour. It arrived on time. The first time I made a test batch, I found that it had a strong, almost rotten smell that required a great deal of fragrance oil As a result, it has a very low flash point and can quickly set up. Even with a positive final product, I doubt that I will purchase again.
Quick shipping. Item looks exactly like it did on the I will try again.
